An acoustically recorded Chinese spinning drum and 3 virtual instances of Mutable Instruments Elements modal/physical modeling eurorack synth making the same sounds (hits, bounces, plastic frame clicks, and gently scraping the drumhead), layered in Cubase w/ compression, EQ, stereo panning/imaging, and reverb; mixed with an EQd recording of rain, through a shared bus with a very subtle phaser.
