I expected a "goodbye" at the ending, but the "hey" somehow made it more beautiful. I'm not moved to tears often but you got me good with this one Monty❤️

‘Dancing With The Thought Of You’ I suppose is a song about memory. 

Since I started writing music in 2014, I’ve had a tendency to write in a wistful and sad way, with track titles evoking something unhappy. As I’ve got older though, I’ve been thinking about when you miss something, thinking back to what made you feel the happiness, peace, and harmony you felt in some moments can be a wonderful thing. And even though feeling nostalgic can bring up feelings of longing, having reverence for the things you felt in the past is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself. 

Putting an optimistic sentiment behind this song was quite important for me, and I hope when you listen to this you can feel what I mean. This is why I’ve named the EP ‘Our Beautiful Moments’ (this song is the 3rd single). Because I truly think that even though you may sometimes find yourself in a cloud of negativity, at your lowest, not seeing the light at the tunnel, you might find yourself experiencing a fleeting moment where things do feel beautiful, even if it’s for a short time. 

Perhaps Xeu in 2015 may have finished this song with a ‘goodbye’, in 2021 it feels better to say ‘hey’ :)
