Feeling a little nostalgic today.

About a year ago I was so close to giving up this project and leaving it to settle with the dust but ever since I’ve started using it to vent my feelings through piano pieces and occasionally electronic pieces, I am so grateful that you all kept supporting me and encouraged me to stay here. For this project to grow like this is unbelievable and I'm very humbled that it has expanded like this. On my Soundcloud, I have just passed one million total plays too, which is something I am also, extremely grateful for. 

I feel genuinely happy to have hopefully been a part of your life in some way. Receiving such heartwarming messages and comments from you, saying that the music is helping you through a tough time, or helping your studies, or even giving you some sort of emotional relief - it is sincerely humbling and I cannot express in words how that makes me feel. 

As a little token for nostalgia's sake, I have played a newer piano version of Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul. It was the first impromptu piece I uploaded on Xeuphoria almost 2 years ago now (titled under ‘There’s this girl’) - and I wanted to revisit that song again :) 

This alias is where I really feel I can be me, nerd out with anime pictures, write the music I write for no sake other than to share my feelings with you all in a very casual and personal way - I think that’s what makes all of this special in a way…

Sleepless

I've been feeling quite creative today, so here's a double upload for you. It's a 20 minute improvisation. I like doing the longer form improvisations because not only does it keep me thinking in terms of endurace in a sense, but also keeps me practicing creatively because it forces me to think very quickly about chord changes and key changes - rhythms and so on. 

I also find myself when playing for a long period time I start 'thinking' less about what I'm playing, and it just begins to come unconsciously and naturally. Almost like being in a meditative state.
