hello
i've been through a really long (for me) beatblock recently.
it brought a lot of confusion on my music and raised questions like "am i good enough? am i really doing the kind of music i like? can i be proud of it?".
but i realized this phase and those questions brought back the creativity i had, and it forced me to try new things, new sounds, new methods, to get better at producing.
and it actually worked! im really proud of this beat, because it translates the emotions i felt after 4 insane days with my friends that created so many precious memories.

Urban Waves is happy to present KaspaHauser to the label's roster and as the first entry in our new single series. This time around the theme is "Sound of Nature" the series will feature new and returning artists that will take the concept and work on tracks with Nature as the main source of inspiration!
With this new song titled “Rain Dance”, the Jazz head KaspaHauser creates a soothing atmosphere with the use of jazzed out chords on the Rhodes. The laid back tune is complimented by a catching synth lead, a funk infused bassline and well textured drums that are smartly mapped out. The song is inspired by the fleeting feeling of euphoria while dancing under the rain. The artist wanted to create a wholesome experience with an organic sound drawing form genres such as Jazz-Hop, Jazzy electronica and Lo-fi beats. The result is simply magical. Just kick back put your headphones on, close your eyes and let the music take you away!

Here's the third single from Vooo's upcoming album "Same Old" on Radio Juicy. With a unique blend of wobbling synth chords, resampled background vocals and jazz drumming, Heartstrings evokes sentimentality in a new sonic world. The anticipation created in the first few moments of the track is resolved with a striking chord progression which ebbs and flows into the virtuosic solo by saxophonist Braxton Cook. The sound selection, arrangement and inspired musical performances in this track combine to create a song full of twists and turns, complex emotion and absolute ear candy.
