I wrote this song as part of a final project in a Healthcare disparities class. I was doing research on Healthcare outcomes of children in different situations and found that children of single parent households have a higher rate of malnutrition, depression, incarceration, and worse health outcomes than children in two parent households. This tragic statistic inspired this song. I hope that this song touches your heart as it did mine.

This is a love song I wrote. I just wanted to express that sometimes things are beautiful because they dont last or because they're rare or because they're painful. You can't control your feelings or your heart but you can choose to either reject those feelings or accept them and find the beauty in them.
