I wrote this one at 3:30 in the morning after coming home from the Life of a Showgirl release party. I was still floating in the glittered air of that night. The kind of night that makes you believe in art again. Maybe it was the drinks, maybe it was the memories, but I came back buzzing, aching, feeling. So I did what I’ve always done when I can’t quite make sense of my heart, I wrote.

This song spilled out between laughter and tears. A tribute to that era of Taylor, to the poets who cry at their own words, to the dreamers who stay up past twilight chasing closure in ink. It’s a sad song dressed in celebration, because even when it hurts, writing is my way of smiling through it. My outlet. My midnight ritual. My reminder that even in the ache, there’s beauty and even in the scribbles, there’s art.
