The Dreamer Reawakening (Collaboration with Liam Hynes-Tawa)

This is a collaboration between myself and awesome singer songwriter Annie Ray @annie-ray-music . I originally developed this as an instrumental and approached Annie pretty late in the day to develop lyrics and a vocal track, Annie rose to the challenge and delivered this beautifully ethereal vocal performance. I looked up to the sky this afternoon, 
The clouds were so ragged 
And there was even a half moon 
Peeking out between the two lime trees, 
I remember, I thought I would write a song about it 
But actually

Hmm, wildlife markets… maybe?
But I had to postpone that because of the view 
It was so homely and beautiful and it was just not at all 
Time to have indignant and stirred up feelings and thoughts

What an honor to be invited to collaborate with ace guitarist, composer, and producer Seagull to create a moving tribute and memorial to the people of Ukraine; those who have been displaced, those who chose to remain, those who have perished in the senseless, needless war, especially the children.
