Expression—For double bass and electro-acoustic music 5.1 multi- channels surround system

There are various ways to express and each people’s expression is different. In this work, I tried to find the extreme aspects of my personality and express them. I attempted to extend the range of possible sounds of the contrabass through ‘noisy’ practice in the instrumental 	part, while combining the daily noises and the natural sounds of the contrabass to create its 	new musical character in the electronic part--it illustrates that agitation and calm are always inside me at the same time.


Expression - for Double Bass and Electro-acoustic music (2013)

 Xiao-Jiao DONG,from China. In 2005, she entered the composition department of shanghai Conservatory of music and studied composition with Prof. Jian-Qiang XU and Prof. Huang LV. In 2009, her work “Mosaic”gained the first prize in the group A of the MUSICACOUSICE-Beijing Electronic music competition. In 2010, she got the admission to Electro-acoustic Music Center of shanghai Conservatory of Music for master degree with outstanding academy results under the guidance of the Prof. Cheng-Bi AN in conventional composition and electronic composition . In 2014, she began her doctoral studying  majoring in Electric music composition with Prof. Cheng-Bi An. Hers works have been performed at home and abroad for many times.in the peer received acclaim.
    In 2009 “Mosaic”——for electronic music was selected by international electronic music week, participating.
    June 2013 “ Expression "-- for double bass and electro-acoustic music 5.1 multi-channels surround system as the academic exchange in Taiwan National Normal University for performance.
October 2014 works "Expression"-- for double bass and electro-acoustic music 5.1 multi-channels surround system was selected by the tenth MUSICACOUSTICA-Beijing Beijing international electronic music festival to performances.
    2015 September works "Trickle"-- for Violin and electro-acoustic music 5.1 multi-channels surround system was selected by the 41st international computer music conference（ICMC） at the University of North Texas performances.
