Wir ziehen los und lassen uns treiben. Der Wind umspielt uns mit zarten Armen und deutet auf etwas besonderes hin. Die Inspiration des Moments schärft die Sinne und füttert die Kreativität wie nie zuvor. Jetzt ist es soweit, wir sind frei und möchten es bleiben. Angekommen wie noch nie nennen wir den Ort Zuhause der sich am Horizont verheissungsvoll angekündigt hat, ein Gefühl von Vertrautheit vom ersten Moment an. 

Barfuss, von der Sonne verwöhnt wird jeder Tag zum Abenteuer. Die Angst ist verflogen und ein neues Gefühl von Sicherheit wird mit offenen Armen empfangen. Wir danken uns selbst den langen Weg bis hierher auf uns genommen und immer fest daran geglaubt zu haben.
Bis die Morgensonne kommt ist daraus entstanden und erzählt von einem temporären Weg ins Glück.

Or Two Strangers opens the summer season with a new EP from label boss Antrim. Continuing to build on his success, the Cordoba resident ended 2022 looking back on what was another banner year. Choosey in his projects across the twelve-month stretch, Antrim delivered some of the year's most memorable releases, beginning with the Abi Ferraresi vocal led piece ‘Seek the Sun’. Released courtesy of Or Two Strangers it set the course for his latest vehicle via Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music entitled ‘Stax’, before delivering one of the year's most exciting cover productions ‘You’re Not Alone’ featuring Paula OS. With 2023 getting underway with an EP for Brazil’s long standing Warung Recordings, Antrim now returns to his comfortable home of Or Two Strangers with ‘Risk | Suru’. 

Destined to be a highlight in Antrim’s discography, ‘Risk’ lands with a sizable thump, as the Cordoba resident opts for a funkier approach to great effect. Warm capsizing basslines and phasing sonics serve as the anchor for emotionally resonant hooks and muted pianos to work their magic leading into the main break. A sweeping experience all its own, the centrepiece flows through deconstructed vocals and wind-swept effects, as the primary theme breathes in all its glory, eventually giving way for waves of phasing noise and a groovy finale. 

Beneath the timeless vibes of ‘Risk’ lies the equally excellent ‘Suru’. Rounding out the release in style, Antrim maintains the groovy energy of its predecessor, with chunky well-carved basslines and panning percussive arrangements setting the course for luminous chord stabs and heartfelt overlays. Sitting at the heart of the journey is a rich textural break, one where Antrim builds anticipation through phasing vocals and percussive-rides, before reaching a tasteful peak and balmy finale. 

Operating at the peak of his creative powers, Antrim continues to impress with his latest Or Two Strangers offering. A two-track showcase which sets the course for what promises to be a strong second half of 2023.

Argentinian Producer Joan Retamero Releases Atmospheric Single

Flourishing Argentinian talent Joan Retamero sets up for an impactful end of 2023 with a multitude of activities paying testament to the rising force that he is. First up is this beautiful self released single, “The Sunstar”. Joan’s versatile sound shines strong here as he wanders elegantly between pensive shades of techno, melodic as it moves into the hazy hours of the night. Crisp drum patterns drive forward, conversing with the shimmering and uplifting synths, transcending the listener with its enchanting groove. 

Joan’s grip is firmly tightened on a slew of strong releases in the coming months, his eccentric style earning him well deserved recognition around the globe. To finish the year he finds himself touring his native country of Argentina with a variety of gigs in several hotspots across the country.

Since having started as a young club kid with vinyl in his pocket, the guy from Austria has made himself a name in the scene of contemporary electronic music.

Xila, a World Music project created in 2012 by Alix Chauvet. Passionate about production, Xila has been making music on FL Studio since he was 14 and works in a variety of styles with different projects, (Enak) Techno and (Galva) Dirty Electro, but loves mainly compose progressive and groovy oriented music. At the beginning he started to play in RaveParty around 2014 with sounds systems then joined the collective music for a few years in 2016 which allowed him to play on more important stages alongside a great artist. The collective now dissolved, Xila continues to Compose / Mixed but always in the greatest pleasures surrounded and accompanied by label and trusted friend!
