Biggie Smalls' secret navy seal freestyle

Starting with a story at the beginning! Hope it's not too complicated.

I play the old DooM multiplayer, on a port called Zandronum, and the community often makes mods for this game, giving new styles of gameplay. One of these mods that I played for a long time (and still play!) is called Jumpmaze. Jumpmaze itself also has these spin-offs/sequels, one of them which is called Jumpix, from which I found some really cool music in one of the levels while I was playing together with my girlfriend. After I played the level a couple times over time I felt like making a remix of the song. Found out I actually played the game long long ago as a kid where the music originally comes from. A game also from around 1995 called Descent - First Strike. I hope it's clear enough how I got the motivation and made the decision to create this remix. If it's confusing still then don't worry, I agree that there's a lot of different terms flying around hahaha

It was nice to make some music again! And aside from the often original music to get an existing track and turning it more modern with my own mixing style. I'd like to thank Reoni as well for providing me with some feedback on the audio which I could use to make tweaks. I think it came out really well. I hope you guys like it! Hopefully you don't mind that I've been away for so long, I just had a lot of other stuff to work on :p

Anyone else that plays DooM and Jumpmaze around here btw? Or someone who has played Descent in the past as well?

It Is An Epic Mystery

Had this Dubstep/Drum and bass idea two years ago that I was working on and then forgot about. Honestly I struggle admitting this but it was Facebook memories that reminded me of the track's existence again because I posted a preview back then. Recently got to work on it again to finish it because I really liked the complex relations between the sounds and added to it to make it a full track.

DEEP DIVE INTERRELATION ANALYSIS

Recently played Swordcraft Story and I really like the theme that plays when you enter the central castle. I'm not sure how many people know this game but I would recommend playing it if you like RPGs. Interesting crafting mechanics, good humor and story too. Decided to make an orchestral version even though I'm not sure how many people know the original. Let me know though if you played the game and liked it =w=)b

SPONGEBOB GOES HARD (XIMARES REMIX)

A heavy metal composition - and with heavy I mean massive - in 5/4 and 4/4. Filled with bass and complex riffs, combined with choir, classical instruments, and synths. 

This time I decided to do some voice acting for an original song (0:25) "Warning;  gates of Hell breached. Initiate Soul Harvesting Protocol. Standby." 
Moreover I have included metal screamos (starting at 1:13) "Many have cried out, tears down their faces, "save me from this Hell! I want to be alive!"
Ultimately, I find it turned out amazing. Everything was quite experimental, with adding sound effects such as the siren, as well as writing those epic guitar solos in a 5/4 time signature.

As for the title of the song, I've chosen to made it so as it represents the struggle of being at one's lowest yet choosing to strive forward, therefore reaching Heaven. In the beginning there is bass tuned all the way to drop C#, whereas in the ending the instruments end in the higher register in the major scale, representing the difference between the two contrasting realms.

Aim for the stars.

When The Spirits Come Out To Play

Because there were two different syllables I heard (tu + ru) I decided to record my voice four times, the tu, the ru, and then again in another octave. Then loading the samples in Harmor for image synthesis and playing them over the right notes. Aside from the vocals I remade the drums, bass, guitars and strings by ear and from scratch and mixed them to make a quick arrangement of the song. I'm not sure but, should I extend it to make it longer? Let me know what you think and thank you for taking the time to listen to my cover.
