Having proven his metal allegiance by fronting such acts as Exodus, Legacy (Testament), Dublin Death Patrol, Tenet, AC/DZ, and more, Steve “Zetro” Souza has once again steps into the thrash metal world with HATRIOT, taking his musical roots back in time to the 1980’s when metal was fast, furious, and yet still melodic. Souza has a vocal style that few singers possess, boasting a powerful sting yet at the same time delivering in a way where fans can fully understand the lyrics, a trademark trait that made him one of the premier singers in the genre. Still residing in the evolutionary birthplace of thrash metal, Souza brings HATRIOT to life backed by his two sons -- bassist Cody Souza and drummer Nick -- along with young guitar wizard, Kosta “V” and second guitarist Miguel Esparza, the quintet out to crush and destroy everything in its path. Unsatisfied with the newer trends in the metal scene, the band produces quality old-school metal with a proven formula with the perfect chemistry and hits the stage light a freight train!

Having recently signed a deal with Germany’s Massacre Records, HATRIOT is now prepared to drop their debut album Heroes Of Origin in North American on February 12th. Raging with old-school Bay Area thrash metal in the best Testament/Exodus/Forbidden tradition, the album’s ten anthems were produced by Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios (Testament, Heathen, Exodus, Skinlab). The cover art and booklet was designed by Mark Devito (Motörhead, Laaz Rockit, Ruffians, Exodus).

David Draiman of Disturbed, and ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo recently collaborated together to construct Device. The album takes strands from hard rock, industrial, and electronica, and as a result, Device's self-titled debut album for Warner Bros. Records is a focused, fierce, and fiery new machine.

It all started while the Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum powerhouse Disturbed was on hiatus, Lenardo reached out to Draiman to collaborate on a song for the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack in late 2011. As soon as the singer heard the music, he was both intrigued and inspired. The duo then cut "Hunted" in Chicago. Even though the track didn't ultimately make the final soundtrack album due to circumstances beyond their control, Draiman urged that they hold on to it and continue writing music. Soon, they had an entire album's worth of material.

Upon finishing the record, Draiman enlisted Evanescence drummer Will Hunt and Dope and Rock of Ages guitarist Virus. Both Hunt and Virus jumped at the chance to be a part of this powerhouse trio. The three comprise the touring incarnation of Device.
