How long have you been creating music?

Xkape: I have been producing music for about 4 years now.


What inspired you to write the track released with us?

Xkape: I remember listening to a Bommer track years ago and more recently an Olacile EP out on Prime Audio. This ended up becoming one of my goals was to release with Prime Audio just because they did. I wanted to be like one of the greats!


What do you use to make your music?

Xkape: I produce on Ableton 9 but I am planning sometime in the spring of 2019 to upgrade to 10!


Where, and when, did you first discover Prime Audio?

Xkape: I found Prime Audio on soundcloud where I upload most of my music to.


What are your current challenges as a producer/DJ?

Xkape: To stay relevant and to always improve my craft. When there are so many people doing it you have to know how to stand out and you will never be the best. There will always be a way you can do something better or improve how you use your talents all that matter is that you keep trying and learning while doing it too! 


What are some things you are looking forward to this year?

Xkape: This release of coarse! This will be my first larger label release within Dubstep/Riddim genre and will hopefully give me some of the exposure Ive been looking for! 


Who would you say is your biggest inspiration?

Xkape: I’m honestly so impressed with Oolacile, Mvrda, & Svdden Death! They came out of nowhere and are blowing up in the scene! I just wish to have the ability like them to have my music played all over the world someday!


What’s one thing on your list you want to do before you die?

Xkape: Well I have already been sky diving so maybe get fully signed to a label as an artist some day or Bungee Jumping! That sounds tight too!
