Improvisations, working, practicing and music compositions continued as my German trip went on lately... (see my previous uploaded videos in Bernkastel-Kues and in Trier). 
[I'm back in France since several weeks but I'm already in another area]

Here, the night was inspiring so came this little improvisation... :)

My playing position, on this couch, wasn't very comfy, you'll see that. LOL :-p ;-)

Another one during my trip in Germany, last summer. 

An improvisation on an appeasing rhythm and a melody which clearly calmed my heartbeats and which changed my mood from "a bit stressed" (for some reasons) to "relaxed". 

I hope you'll enjoy and that you'll feel alike while listening to it, if you're searching for a few minutes of Zen. :-)

Take 5 minutes and a deep breath, close your eyes, breathe peacefully and relax... (better in HD and headphones or a good sound system). :)

I was really "in (total) fusion" with my Aciel. :)
A lot of new stuff here! :D

A new composition made last week, before the Handpan "Circus" Festival in Sauvian, France, last week-end (which was just awesome... to know more: http://www.festivalhandpan.com/ ). ;)

So, this is after the Workshop @ "Le Rêve de l'Aborigène" Festival (in Airvault, France, at the end of July) with my friend Kabeção and before the two with David Charrier (another great player and buddy). :)

In here... new technics (some of them learned with Kabeção, while others are from me), new groove, new rhytmics, some fast/slow and "hard"/soft playing. :)

A tune with melancholia, memories of sadness and sorrow but also hope via groovy rhythmics and Good Vibes for a possible amazing Future, full of Love and Tolerance for all the living beings. ^_^
We all can do it... it's just a matter of will. ;)
Don't be simply fooled by the politicians' pantomimes... ;P

Une nouvelle composition de musique autour du Handpan (avec un petit chouïa de cymbales et de cajón ;) ) pour une mélodie mélancolique avec aussi des rythmes rapides de plusieurs sortes.

Un morceau avec de la mélancolie, des souvenirs de tristesse et de chagrin mais aussi de l'espoir à travers une rythmique groovy et des bonnes vibrations pour un futur incroyable qui est possible, empli d'amour et de tolérance envers tous les êtres vivants...  :)

Nous pouvons tous le faire... c'est juste une question de volonté. ;)
Ne vous laissez simplement pas berner par les pantomimes des politiciens... ;P

After the woefully saddening events in Paris last night (november 13th, 2015), I quickly (in the night, still awake, following the news) got the feeling that I had to play my handpan in order to take away all the sadness, fear and anger I had in my heart and my mind, regarding those terrible attacks done by ISIS terrorists in my country, and also to think about all those poor souls...  :-(

That's an improvisation with my Aciel, so don't take it too seriously, it's just full of emotions, letting the flow go...
Without any pretension at all, I just hope that, perhaps, it could help other people, like me, to grieve and to free mind and heart...

Peace over the world... (don't forget the recent horrors in Beyrouth, Sousse and elsewhere too...).

Please be kind and tolerant to each other...

Après les terriblement tragiques événements qui ont eu lieu à Paris (13 Novembre 2015), j'ai rapidement (dans la nuit, toujours éveillé à suivre les infos) ressenti le besoin de prendre mon handpan pour jouer quelque chose afin de libérer la tristesse, la peur et la colère que j'avais dans le cœur et l'esprit, concernant ces terribles attaques perpétrées par les terroristes de DAESH dans mon pays mais aussi pour penser à toutes ces pauvres âmes... ? :-(

C'est une improvisation avec mon Aciel, ne prenez pas trop ça sérieusement, c'est juste plein d'émotions, en laissant les choses aller...
Sans prétention aucune, j'espère juste que, peut-être, cela pourrait aider d'autres personnes, comme moi, à faire leur deuil et à libérer le cœur et l'esprit...

Que la paix englobe le monde... (n'oublions pas les horreurs récentes à Beyrouth, Sousse, et ailleurs non plus...).

S'il vous plaît, pas d'amalgames, essayez d'être aimables et tolérants les uns envers les autres...

Because I don't only play Handpan (instrument from idiophone family, like the original PANArt Hang), but several others instruments and percussions, and also in order to change a bit, here is a piece of music with another recent and contemporary special one: the Cosmicbow (here with 4 strings; see below for more information).

He was joined by @ichi_music (here's his YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/riversgod ❤️) and his guitars, from Japan who asked me to add some Handpan good vibes (here with an EchoSoundSculpture Asachan) ... which I did, then I also added some breath flute via my ROLI Songmakerkit (here through the LightPad block M).

I think the result is really neat and super groovy (and I know that Dan is working on a longer version of this beautiful song for his next album, a version on which I would love to collaborate again and it seems it will happen in the near future... 😉🤫🤐).☺️❤️🎶✨

Our beloved Carol  - check out her YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/CarolWCamelo -  took a fall and has broken her left arm and right leg. 
Surgery went well and so far no complications. If that wasn’t bad enough she was not quite recovered from a recent cold/flu and her lungs weren’t in the greatest of shape when this fall occurred. 
She was also recovering from some recent dental surgery as well. 
The physiotherapists and occupational therapists are working with her to get her moving and self-sufficient again.

Carol is the Matriarch of the community that formed around the HandPan.org forum. 
She has supported and cheered on many community members over the years. 
Regardless if you know Carol well or not, if you do have the time please send her some love with a video if you are so inclined.

This is a very first exploration and improvisation on this beautiful instrument I got some weeks ago, made by Roman Elisariev, from Steel Monkey Sound Sculptures, based in Russia.
The scale is C# 3 Maya 11:
C# 3 / F3 Bb3 (G# 3) C4 C# 4 (E4) F4 G4 G# 4 C2
It's a field recording, shot last month, with birds and a bit of wind.
Even if I cleaned the sound and added several elements (to create an even more natural soundscape with a specially synchronized ending), there're still some wind noise and tiny artifacts here or there, sorry for that but I felt it was nice to share, so I made also some video editing to invite you on a journey... 
... a journey to follow what I call "the Green Path", the one we should all try our best to follow, to feel, connect and respect our Mother Nature and to protect our environment and all other living and sentient beings. 💞🌍✨💚
