New York&#8217;s Layton Giordani is clearly at the forefront of the scene right now with his inimitable take on today&#8217;s Techno, showcased perfectly on this four-tracker.

&#8220;Lost Feeling&#8221; kicks things off with a frantic, acidic riff and metallic atmospherics set the tone in order to move on to &#8220;Episode Of 1992&#8221;, where the locomotive rhythm section provides the ideal backdrop for lush chords and a rumbling bassline. On &#8220;Cloud N9&#8221; we are treated to bubbling subs, haunting synths and a one-note percussive lead, which all come together to create a dense vibe. Closing up is &#8220;Keep On&#8221; and its very cheeky vocal sample, featuring looped electronics and a more subliminal approach to the programming.

The infamous duo return with four tracks, and &#8220;Save Me&#8221; sets the mood as soaring synths and pulsating bass fuse together under the rule of mighty percussion from the skies. &#8220;Signature&#8221; picks up from there and commanding stabs push things forward in a similar vein, leading to a melodic breakdown that provides a breather before all the mayhem resumes. The synth-led &#8220;Hate Of Fear&#8221; is full of arpeggios and menacing electronics, all balanced out perfectly by the cavernous vibe which takes us to the closing &#8220;Blair&#8221; and its manic chords on center stage, as it stomps away in the boys&#8217; trademarked style.

It’s June 2003, and the power trio of Tony, Halo & Hipp-e have formed a supergroup under the guise The 6400 Crew to unleash a 12-inch that would take the summer by storm. “Dubb Me Some’tin Fresh” quickly garnered support from the upper echelons of the DJ community for its unrelenting groove and its unabashed tribute to the music of producers like Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby. It’s with great pleasure that we welcome LV boss Hector to the label, and Sinisa Tamamovic follows up his two recent EP’s for Yoshitoshi with his powerful contribution. Add to this a deeper remix from Sharam and you have three enormous remixes that each command serious attention. Hector’s mix keeps many aspects of the original, modernizing them with his powerful grooves. Sinisa’s approach incorporates the producer’s signature bass lines into a massive rework of the classic beat, and Sharam does what Sharam does best - flipping the track into a fresh, new mix that is sure to please a multitude of audiences. Finally, the original mix has been remastered for the modern DJ.
