Ibiza-based artist, DJ, and producer Chris Le Blanc marks the 20th anniversary of his timeless Chill Out anthem "Enjoy Your Life" with a stunning new remix by acclaimed producer Wolfgang Filz. 

Originally released in 2005 on the legendary Café del Mar compilation, "Enjoy Your Life" quickly became a standout track, known for its relaxed atmosphere, smooth vocals, and an uplifting message that resonated with audiences around the world. Its warm, sun-soaked sound perfectly captured the spirit of Ibiza and the golden era of Balearic Chill Out music. 

Now, two decades later, Wolfgang Filz, who splits his time between Ibiza and Düsseldorf, breathes new life into the track with a refined club remix that honors the original while adding a fresh, modern edge. With pulsating rhythms, soulful vocals by Jules, and enhanced textures, the 2025 remix invites both longtime fans and new listeners to reconnect with the song’s timeless mantra: Enjoy Your Life! 

“This track has meant so much to me over the years”, says Chris Le Blanc. “It feels right to revisit it now, not just to celebrate the past, but to remind people to live in the moment”. The past year has seen Swiss producer Lemonick rise from relative obscurity to the fore of the club music world, releasing efforts on Nervous Horizons, Clubwerks and Car Crash Set, all while cultivating a bare bones, hybrid style that’s almost immediately recognizable. “Locked Groove” represents his arrival in the Symbols Download Series, a track that balances the rambunctious feeling of East Coast club forms with a serious, spaced out sense of sound design, all topped off with enough lick-driven funk flair to keep you moving throughout.

Lemonick - Locked Groove (SMBDL011)

UK music of the early 2010s was heavily dominated by a select modicum of names – of which Wayne Goodlitt (also known as Roska) was intrinsically one. Collaborating with the likes of Swindle and Funtcase, a long-running residency with and releases on Rinse, as well as Hotflush (whose 2011 label showcase for BR incidentally featured Roska on the bill), Numbers and Tectonic all staked Roska's claim in the rapidly shifting food chain of British dance and bass music.

Since 2009, Roska's own Kicks & Snares imprint has been housing his prolific discography as well as various other trustee, paving the way in both old and new UK Funky-based music, as well as beyond. Though, much like his own music, genres are becoming less of a thing in dance music. If anything, variety of output is equally as authentic as orthodoxy to one given genre. Man like Roska is a true testament to the former. RKS now reopens shop with Roska's new Askin 4 It EP. All six cuts pay homage to the dance music sound that is quintessentially British. Our highlight "Make Way" whirs underneath with sub-levels bass, permeated by a heavily percussive rhythm throughout that demands to be danced to. All with that unmistakeable "Roska" vocal ident taking us way back. A welcome return to a seasoned pro of UK dance music.
