A remix I made for Au Revoir Simone, a slow dubby sort of affair, not really for the the dancefloor.

I didn't want to use the full vocals so I went for a high-passed ghostly sort of effect with them, it catches some nice bands in the top of her voice though!

Archie Pelago and Grenier combining talents can only mean one thing: super sumptuous dance music.

Tonik Ensemble - Until We Meet Again (Olaf Stuut Remix)

Helix / Två Fontäner, like his previous release, Snow Sketch / Visions, is a 17+ minute slow burning exploration of ambience and rhythm.  Taking cues from the likes of Floating Points, Four Tet and Beacon, the tracks melt Tartaglione's specific brand of atmosphere with a well rounded beat.

Like the shape of it's namesake, Helix twists clanging melodic lines around a mess of white noise and a persistent backbeat.  The track eventually evolves to calm with a sidestick, allowing Två Fontäner's energetic intro and droning background to follow.

Helix / Två Fontäner is the first of a number of releases this year for Planète - who looks to solidify his status as one of Australia's most intriguing producers over the coming months.

i listened to this song over and over across days, trying to find anything wrong, so much so that i'm done. i'm not working on it anymore. i'm sick of dealing with it and sick of hearing it. the song is done. another notch on the amateur belt filled with garbage.

learned some music theory, decided that i hated most of it, and went back to not having my creativity stifled by musical OUTLINES. i prefer my psychopathic melodies better.
