The Silentist started his long journey in the depth of electronic music more than ten years ago. He quickly started building up a consequent collection of vinyls from distinct genres, with highlights from labels such as Giegling, Northern Electronics, Kann and Delsin. His exploration of grooves leads to unexpected destinations, ranging from deep house to driving techno, from dub pads to broken beats, from Waking Life to De School.  The Silentist recently self-released his first EP, Fall Dub EP, showcasing the dub techno he particularly enjoys. Dub techno is sometimes produced with vocals resulting in surprinsingly good results more than often. I ve selected 25 tracks which features vocalists (and some vocal samples) like Paul St-Hilaire and Benji. This is slowly meandering spacedub with deep, peaceful and dreamy lush ambient pads and dubby basslines. Though the old Rhythm & Sound influence is still clear—especially on the track Child was I—but what these producers are making truly feels fresh.

Recorded at Giegling Melbourne - @alexalbrechtmusic treats us to a live set featuring his warm, immersive sound. Moving fluidly between ambient textures, deep house, and groove-heavy downtempo, his work has found a home on labels like Mule Musiq, Scissor & Thread and Analogue Attic, with releases that capture everything from late-night introspection to sunlit, outdoor euphoria.

Currently in the middle of a busy European tour, Alex is playing Strand 22 in Jena 27.06, where he’ll join Margaux Gazur and Module One for the Ambient Open Air.

Heimlich Musik’s (@heimlichaufsc)tenth release is a direct output from “@Tulioxi”, which has been mastered over time during his live performances using a broad range of analogue equipment. 

This four-track EP has received special treatment from three dark disco advocates: Local suicide, Undo, and Ombra international label boss Curses(@cursesforever). Each of them integrating their signature sounds to the originals. 

We are happy to premiere “Curses” remix of the original track “The downside of being an asshole” and once again he has shown his love for blending rock & roll with the darker side of disco and turning the vocals into ghostly whispers.
