Having already established themselves as one of the most versatile and ambitious acts around, DC and Hooks break new sonic territory with eight tracks that that cover a wide spectrum of electronic music. Joining the Toronto duo on the record is Twin Shadow for the house anthem”Lost You”. Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Ferrell makes an appearance closing track “Blink.” Also on the EP are Colorado group Big Gigantic & fellow Canadian Omar LinX for the smooth hip-hop cut “Stoned Capone”,  producer and vocalist Bright Lights, New York rapper Sean Price and French DJ/Producer group Dirtyphonics.  Somewhere Else is their first proper release since last year’s Hot Sauce EP, out July 1st on Mad Decent and distributed in Canada by Ultra Canada.

Amateur Dance is Melbourne’s 20y/o Joseph Cookson. Fresh to the world of electronica, Cookson makes emotional, uplifting house music that belies his newcomer status. With typical self-depreciating style comes Amateur Dance’s new EP, ‘Talking About Yourself’. Having already had EP’s out on a number of Manchester based outlets (including our good friends at AdHoc!) we’re pleased to now have 3 housers from the boy wonder land on Sprechen!

Keepon is some serious looped up disco infused business thats as hypnotic as it is funky…a few twists & turns thrown in to keep the jack formally in place make this an ideal warm up unit.

Sockit jumps firmly into peak time party mode and is all kinds of roller-disco/Studio 54 style greatness with some slinky filters & cut aways to keep the groove locked firmly in place with a real roof raiser of a breakdown complete with crash-bang-shallop Animal from The Muppets style percussion!

If the first 2 tracks are strictly for the discotheque floor then Regenerating Night Cream is most definitely all about being ‘Zoot O’Clock’ for the after party. Total tone shift for the deeper dance floors or those balearic sunset style sets.

Two Tail jumps on the remix to turn in a creation that wouldn’t sound out of place from the Renaissance/Sasha & Digweed days of glory…full factor yessmate!
