“Questo ricordo, che la prima reazione collettiva fisico-emotiva è stata uguale all'ultima, e che man mano le canzoni crescevano, passando dal provino alla forma attuale, il nostro modo di reagire fisicamente ed emotivamente al loro ascolto si consolidava e si enfatizzava ancora di più verso un'unica direzione. Così, chiunque si trovasse in studio di registrazione insieme a noi a sentire quei brani che avrebbero composto il nuovo album puntava sempre e incondizionatamente il dito al cielo alzando il più possibile il braccio, il rituale che compiono i
battitori di baseball quando vogliono avvertire il pubblico che hanno intenzione di battere un fuoricampo. E noi questo avevamo intenzione di servire: un FUORICAMPO. 

Non che le cose si decidano a tavolino. E' bastato tornare alle origini senza sprechi di tempo senza vergogna, immersi dalla testa ai piedi in quella cultura pop in cui siamo cresciuti. Figli dell'animazione giapponese che sfodera il mito dell'eroe malinconico, figli dei treni che si perdono nello spazio e che planano in mare, del volo, delle stelle e delle nuvole. Buttarsi via dopo un amore estivo rigalleggiando lungo il litorale nei mesi freddi, partecipare al vizio che ci rende vivi e felici. Il vizio e il sesso che fermano lo scorrere del tempo. Il gioco della bottiglia è solo un preambolo infantile di un orgia. Abbiamo voluto gridare contro le veglie insonni, cresciamo e non dormiamo più, cresciamo e ci vestiamo sempre peggio, noi non crediamo nel paradigma del modello calciatore. 
La moda deve essere altro. Noi crediamo ancora nei film d'autore, nella storia e nella natura, crediamo nell'educazione.
È quando il battitore batte un fuoricampo che tutto il pubblico sugli spalti si mette a guardare il cielo”

Suction Records is pleased to present "Pulsdisco" (suction030, 6-track 12-inch), the debut vinyl release by Celldöd﻿, a new name to the Suction Records roster. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Celldöd's output to date has been a series of extremely limited cassettes. This 12-inch is a selection of tracks from the first two tapes, Pulsdisco#1 and Pulsdisco#2.

Celldöd is the solo project of Anders Karlsson, well known in the EBM scene for his involvement in the band The Pain Machinery and as a live member of Severe Illusion. It's no surprise then, that the Electronic Body Music pulse of bands like DAF, Nitzer Ebb and The Klinik is at the heart of Celldöd's sound as well, but with a twist. Celldöd strips EBM down to it's core, eliminating vocals and any superfluous details. Celldöd offers a raw, minimal, and purist vision of EBM; hardware tracks recorded live to tape using just a handful of machines. Celldöd's bare bones dance cuts are dirty and primitive, but manage to steer clear of retro trappings, sounding fresh and contemporary. Despite being driven by Nitzer Ebb-style basslines and militant electronic percussion, you can also hear the squelch and funk of vintage acid house and proto-techno in Celldöd, giving Pulsdisco the same techno/EBM crossover appeal of artists such as Silent Servant, Adam X and Terrence Fixmer.

Amon Tobin occupies a peculiar position in the dance music firmament – a point where the gravitational forces of IDM, EDM, D’n’B and rather more hipster-friendly bass music balance one another out. He’s got every bit the production finesse, and often the weirdness, of WARP luminaries, he can also make some very deep and dark basement-friendly tunes – yet he is something of a rave superstar in the USA, and for The Six Rhythms EP he’s on Dutch loudness-warriors Noisia’s label Division. His Two Fingers guise was originally created for tracks with UK MC Sway, but it’s now an instrumental project. We won’t lie, the other tracks on this EP slide a bit far into stadium rave territory for us, but this one – a healthy dose of body-rocking warehouse electro – does the business and then some. It’s out on 22nd June – you can preorder on the Division site or iTunes.

My father Died around this time 3 years ago from a heart attack caused by alcohol poisoning. I made this as a tribute to him. This is supposed to be what me remembering my child hood memories are like. I don't really remember the words to my memories, I just remember sounds and emotions for old memories. I remember my dad hearing me play piano when I was very young, and how he liked it. The piano playing I did in this is how I feel remembering my Father, every note is really a word to me. I don't do things to be clever or cool, I do it to express myself in a unique way. Hope people enjoy this.
