HAELIUM is a French producer whose dreamy electronica is a mix of cinematic textures, ethereal atmospheres and punchy beats. Influenced by the sounds coming out of labels such as Warp, Brainfeeder and Erased Tapes, HAELIUM’s music is a place where opposites meet, offering a refreshing blend of deep melancholy and childlike optimism. 

After releasing several singles and remixes in 2018, his track “Frozen” was released as part of Svnset Waves’ compilation in March 2019. The same year, he unveiled his tracks “Love” and “Naps”. In June 2020, HAELIUM released his first EP “Recovery” on Nowadays Records with an extended version in September. 

After releasing a new single “Moving Forward”, HAELIUM will release his second EP 'Expanding' in August 2021 via Future Archive Recordings.

Recently launched French label, Seclusion is back for its second outing. The inaugural release by Detroit’s HLX-1 garnered impressive support from DJs and the media including Bandcamp’s Best Electronic Music in May, and plays in Titonton Duvante’s XLR8R podcast, Dave Clarke’s White Noise, James Ruskin’s EPM podcast, Ben Sims’ Run It Red show, Rolando’s Better Days mix and Tom Ravenscroft’s BBC 6 Music show.

But one of the ‘Come To Me’ EP’s standouts was in fact the remix by 13130 Space Project, which is the DJ and production moniker of Seclusion founders, Damien Lapéna and Anouar Hemissi. Now they return with an EP of their own, entitled ‘International Problem’.

‘International Problem’ features two originals – the title track and ‘Kismet’ which enforce their love of deep tech with interstellar leanings and a nod to Detroitesque techno. Forming a further bond with the Motor City, they enlist Blaktony who has been a member within various groups and collectives, including Optic Nerve, early Aux 88, Aux Men, Alien FM and Scan7, to deliver a remix that bridges the gap between Techno Bass and Electro.

Another debutant to the Ablo roster, 2ape Pax presents the Anxiety EP, a fitting title for the uncertain times we have all faced this last 18 months, but with tracks that also hint at better times to come.

The EP contains four tracks that span broken-beat/bass, electronica, downtempo and ambient vibes. The use of sampled live instrumentation and perfectly constructed electronic elements makes this release a real audial treat.

After many years of silence, creative mind and multi-disciplinary artist Lars Kemnitz returns with this new track under his DJ, selector and producer alias Kämmer. "Thinking of Distant Shores" took a long way from the very first draft to the final mix. Major inspiration came during travels to the island of Fuerteventura where the music video was shot as well. The rough and barren landscape, the tranquility the island radiates throughout, the melancholy felt when looking at the sea imagining the distant coast line of Morocco – all of that was reason enough for him to start producing again.

"Thinking of Distant Shores" is built upon a Dembow-inspired drum pattern and is driven forward by a huge warm synth pad at a relaxed tempo of 105 bpm. The key is F minor (4A).

Starting off to an hypnotising vibe, with its silky but powerful bassline and some bleeps, this track develops to find its minimalistic character, adding only a handful of elements through its duration, worked in a such a way, that it never becomes boring. Constant evolution of its textures and atmospheres, do a great job creating that aforementioned vibe, that even tho it's more on the ''mental'' side of Techno, its equally effective to dance to in a nightclub, with the bouncy feeling provided by the arrangement of its drums and percussive elements, a record inspired by countless nights of listening in the Underground scene of Europe, most precisely, Berlin.

Kerrie made her impressive Cultivated Electronics Ltd debut in July with ‘We
Continue Part 1’ which has grabbed the attention of media and DJs alike,
recently featuring in DJ Mag’s Staff Picks amongst other accolades. She now
returns in September for Part 2.

This Irish born, Manchester based DJ and producer has been rising in the
ranks since first joining the Eastern Bloc crew and over time has taken her
analogue live shows to the likes of Freerotation and The Warehouse Project.
2021 has also seen the launch of her label, Dark Machine Funk Recordings
(DMF).

Like her own label name suggests on ‘We Continue Part 2’, Kerrie delivers four more raw electro tracks bringing dark, twisted bass driven machine funk to Cultivated Electronics’ vinyl-only offshoot, Cultivated Electronics Ltd.
