Everybody In return in 2021 with a hypnotic and rolling release from the Leeds-based producer Joe Schofield aka Joescho. The artist's influences span deep house, minimal, micro house, garage to jazz, besides his interests for space and the great unknown.

His 2-tracker brings you to two unique and exciting destinations. “Hypnosis” keeps the listeners' feet moving while synth stabs from outer space strike and scamper away. The hypnotic vocal samples help it recede from reality. “The Terminal” a calming melodic house track provides the ‘yang’ to Hypnosis’ ‘yin’, with warm pianos and ethereal pads blending together, best enjoyed from a sun lounger on the beach, cocktail in hand... San Francisco-born, Berlin-based artist @chloe-lula has been involved with the electronic music scene for more than a decade. She started producing her first live sets in 2019, when she completed a month-long artist residency with Drew McDowall of Coil. The experience ignited her confidence in composition and allowed her to combine her classical cello training with electronics, melding granular synthesis with acoustic riffs and metallic percussion to create an alloyed brand of droned-out industrial electronica. Many of these jams ended up becoming the tracks on her debut EP with aufnahme + wiedergabe, where she’s been a resident for four years.

In addition to her career as a DJ, she is also a music journalist and a selector for her monthly punk show, ‘No Exit,’ on Refuge Worldwide Radio.

With his debut release titled Planetary Secrets, he toes the line from nostalgia to fantasy, offering his own take on what it means to escape reality. He notes 'It's rare I start a track without a theme, whether that would be a childhood memory or place I want to visit, manifesting an environment in my head guides the production process." His intimately personal process gives a cohesive context to his output. It creates a paradigm between the past and the present, suspending time for the listeners by immersing them in their own imaginary world. Now more than ever, narratives like this provide a vital crutch for isolated home listeners as well as a departure from the notion that club music is purely functional and hedonistic.

A DJ, promoter, label co-owner and festival coordinator, Adam Rahman has
been a driving force for dance music in the Middle East, India and
increasingly the rest of the world, for decades. Whilst techno might be the go-to sound for dance music right now, he’s been pushing forward-
thinking techno and electronica since he started in the late 90s.

A trailblazing DJ and promoter, Adam brought cutting edge techno and
electronic music to the Middle East just before the millennium, establishing
an ultra-credible dance music scene via his WARPED nights, a true
underground night that brought forward-thinking techno to a land still
dominated by sandcastles, skyscrapers and beach houses. 

WARPED has since evolved into very select events and a monthly Ibiza Global Radio Show - ‘Warped After Hours’ - which hosts rising stars from the Middle East and

Next up on Motech Records is Miles Ellis with the brilliant ‘House of Fun EP’. Hailing from Arizona USA, Miles provides four fresh Detroit Techno tracks in true Motech form, having delivered his wildly popular ‘Jack The Beat’ on Motech’s ‘Consortium Vol. 2’ compilation and a recent EP for Simon Shaw's Sense Traxx, as well as running his own label, Limitlessun Recordings.

The EP opens with ‘Weight of Gravity’ a track that personifies the journey Miles has made to get where he is right now in the Techno scene. ‘Don’t Make Me’ is filled with addictive claps and groove filled funky stabs. Ellis comments on title track ‘House of Fun’ saying, “I really wanted to have something heavy hitting, more of something everyone would hear and be like ‘Damn!’, the vibe is 100% raw warehouse techno feelings, this track was influenced by the sets of Ben Sims, FJAAK, Ben Klock and more European techno DJs to be honest”. Finally ‘Be Yourself’ came from Ellis messing around with the TR8S, crafting grooves and layering a rough distorted stab with the vocal hook. Ellis adds, “the vocal alone is a great part because it’s something I’ve always remained to do - ‘be yourself’, my own music and my own sound”.
‘House of Fun EP’ [MT143] from Miles Ellis is available on Motech Records via all digital and streaming platforms from April 30th.

Plasman’s musical transposition reflects the idea of the absolute and infinite circularity of spatial objects through long sessions of overlapping and polyrhythmic arpeggios. Plasman 51 is a synthesizers maniac and a vinyl collector. He approaches music through classical studies of clarinet. Active member of 51beats from 2009, part of the project Cani Giganti, he participated in improvisation and sonic experimentation project Fanciulli GooM. In 2016, he published on Stato Elettrico label his fourth album “Endless Wave”. In 2021 Plasman strikes back again on 51Beats, with the album Circles and Circles As a dj, he performs only with vinyl and focuses attention on synthwave, kosmische musik, industrial and kraut rock styles.
