Mixed Feelings presents a VA remix EP of Jaxe's track titled "Flames" (released in 2023 via Peace Tomorrow VA) from Bejenec, Bakblivv, Avtomat, Tamten and Jaxe's own flip.

Beginning with Bejenec's remake, Flames emerge as reminiscent of the golden days of 4/4 UK bass, boasting a commanding bassline that drives the rhythm alongside drums infused with lots of swing.

Following suit is Babklivv, whose distorted low frequencies disrupt the previous remix structure, presenting a beat driven by broken kicks, perpetually building a seductive tension.

The third track belongs to Avtomat, who further diversifies the mix with an onslaught of heavy percussive hits seamlessly melded with a dubstep-inspired bass, gradually enveloping the listener until exhaustion sets in.

TAMTEN then offers a momentary, deeper interpretation, imbuing the original with a southwestern sonic flavor, evoking an abstract dream that seems to stretch on indefinitely.

Finally, Jaxe's reinterpretation brings the EP to a close, reimagining the original bassline with uptempo breakbeat drums and a captivating sawtooth hook, elevating the energy into higher BPM territory.
