It is Monday the 22nd of December 2014 and we have new guests for the very first time on the CLR Podcast. The Kiev-based duo Woo York has come a long way from being Ukraine capital’s local heroes to becoming an internationally recognized live act with their own signature sound. They are not only residents of legendary Glaswegian label Soma Records and head honchos of Planet Rhythm, they have also been delivering one dance floor killer after another since the start of their career back in 2009. Known for their energetic live acts, Woo York combine experimental, dance floor oriented and avant-garde elements into a highly improvisational musical flow with a strong hardware background. The entire music in this set is performed and improvised live during one of their recent gigs and contains two tracks from their upcoming debut 5 tracker EP on Life & Death called The Valley of Songs.

現在、世界のミニマルテクノ·ハウスシーンを凄まじい勢いで席巻しているルーマニアのアーティストたちを紹介していくパーティ“Beat In Me”。2015年の初回に登場するメインアクトは、Ricardo、RPRに継ぐルーマニアンミニマルシーンの次世代トッププロデューサーとして期待されているBaracだ。現時点でのリリースはまだ少ないものの、彼の未発表トラックはすでに数多くの素晴らしいミックスにフィーチュアされている。待望の初来日に、ぜひ注目してほしい。また、今回は“Beat In Me”を主宰するRAHAのバースデイを祝うパーティでもあり、フロアにはよりハッピーなヴァイブスが生まれることだろう。

Best known for keeping the party going for endless hours until nobody can dance anymore, Herodot has proven his creativity not only behind the decks, but also as a producer. He owns Unanim Records. And, talking about endless hours, he provided us with an extract from his closing set at the Toi.Toi. party at Guesthouse this April, a night which he ended up closing on a b2b with Topper.
