Panorama Bar resident and Love On The Rocks label head Paramida joins us for the 92nd edition of the Phonica Mix Series. 

Since moving to Berlin in 2010, Paramida has since become a key figure in the cities ever-expanding electronic music scene. In 2014 she launched her Love On The Rocks label which has seen releases from Massimiliano Pagliara, Telephones, Fantastic Man, Elles, Violet, Alex Kassian and more.  

Having spent five years working at Oye Records, Paramida is certainly no stranger to digging. Each of her varied DJ sets brings a new beacon of pleasure and surprise. Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat. Sounds that are very much reflected in this here recording. Genre-defying is a must while DJing, opening the dance floor to a hallucinatory dialog that invites inclusivity and intimacy all in the service of the collective journey.

In April 2023 - their debut solo album “Sanctuary Of Ideas” is due via the Zurich-based label Lustpoderosa; a work that explores the dichotomy of the sanctuary as a sacred place and as a shelter, by asking Metaphorical questions about the tension between constructive and destructive facets of irrational will.'

If you were looking to shine a light on an essential element of Bianca Scout’s Sunday Mix, the most obvious choice would be her voice.

Over the course of 75-odd-minutes, it’s this instrument – glitchy here, wispy there, haunting throughout – that the London-based musician and choreographer uses to guide you through songs from her catalogue thus far, from unreleased edits to forthcoming work via music from her latest release, 'The Heart of the Anchoress'. Much like an ASMR soundtrack from some busy train station, filled with noise and bustle and background buzz, plus stories and strangers to boot, Scout’s mix will take you to somewhere else entirely this Sunday.

Up next in our series is a live recording from Edward's set at this year's Gottwood Festival.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Edward (Gilles Aiken) is a true master of his craft, known for hypnotic sets that merge groovy, shadowy rhythms with a cosmic edge.

A mainstay of Berlin's 'WHITE' label, Frankfurt's '@die-orakel', and Weimar's iconic @giegling. Edward's latest release sees him join forces with @ricardo-villalobos-official on the revered @perlon-berlin label.

His Friday set during the @Trommelmusic takeover at Gottwood was a  journey through his signature sound, perfectly reflecting the festival’s eclectic vibe.
