Nicolas Lutz - MOJ mixes 9 - Live at Concrete

Nicolas Lutz comes to us from Uruguay via Berlin and we believe he's on the move somewhere new as we speak, where to we don't quite know but that pretty much sums Nicolas up. He's an enigma, outside of the mainstream, nonconformist. This sentiment also perfectly sums up his DJing, always outsider, never predictable.  

Lutz's sets are immaculately programmed and include music that he has lovingly sought out, music will inevitably become hunted by an increasing numbers of his dedicated, record digging fans. Nicolas first played for us at our off Sonar event in Barcelona in 2017 and his attention to detail and ear for strange, memorable sounds stood out that day. Here he delivers a very rare recorded mix that takes in ambient sounds along with house, breaks, electro and techno but it's not the genres, it's  the underlying texture and detail on display that is the defining feature of episode 114.
