During the day they stay calm and cool, doing their best to pretend to be a dead stick. Potoos are highly nocturnal, they have these little slits on their eyelids that let them see... even when their eyes are shut.
With that huge mouth, any food item is just swallowed whole. Sometimes, a small bird can fit into that extra wide mouth...
