“I, Never Us” is about the feeling of not being wanted or appreciated in a relationship but you don’t realise or want to admit that’s how you felt at that moment. It’s like reflecting on the relationship and noticing all the discrepancies that have been planted throughout. Ending a relationship can make you feel very vulnerable and insecure, but later you realise it was the best decision you could’ve made. It gives you a chance to repair and grow, which is exactly what Xoe-B has done.
