‘Safire’ Plasma audio founder...originates from the world of drum and bass production, his latest cuts encompass a collation of new influences with several upcoming EP’s in the schedule for 2021, ranging from club based half time, lofi/soul inspired beats to drum and bass. 

'Landing' is the first drop from from the the upcoming EP, infusing a laid back lofi hip hop vibe with wonky bass music thats designed to be on repeat in the lounge, setting the tone for an exciting new canvas of exploration for Safire. The first single ‘Landing’ drops March 26th 2021 accompanied by hand drawn illustration from Akane Ito from QQQ design.

We have had great success with our first series of VA releases called Edition, for which there were 3 parts. This year, we present our next Various Artists release, named Atlas.

This LP features both established artists and newcomers to the scene, as well as label staples and label newcomers. Atlas features Deft, Visages, Drone, Nymfo, Monty, Alix Perez, Echo Brown, Foreign Concept, Headland, Safire, DRS, Nymfo, and of course, Eprom. Atlas is a journey through numerous styles and tempos, showcasing a group of the most talented artists in bass music today.

Atlas/ 1 will be released on digital on 9th July 2021 - and also as a 3 piece vinyl set which will be available for shipping in September.

The EP depicts various styles which the label has grown to be known for.

Conceptual & artistic is the theme while each track has meaning intertwined into its design - from dark to light experiences to political messages, the EP has a rich flavour and will have you feeling the music more than banging your head, with some exception as one or two of the tracks have a remarkable energy that is sure to hurt any dance floor. Artwork for the release has been hand drawn by Japanese designer Nene of QQQ, full release due out 13th of November 2017.

A collaboration of seismic proportions, we present ‘The Last Renegade’ from Safire, DLR & DRS, backed with two experimental DLR forays called ‘Dreaming Of A Place’.

Sinister, brooding and shaped with intent, ‘The Last Renegade’ sees Safire & DLR combining to create a half time beast, with the piercing vocals of DRS a perfect fit.

Developing the ‘Dreamland’ themes from his last album, DLR explores dub and techno influences and more downtempo vibes on two mixes of ‘Dreaming Of A Place’.

Digressing from the more typical Dispatch format, DLR, along with Safire & DRS, express their artistic freedom to display the depth in quality within the label today.
