Yana Etc is a co-founder of the event series, record label, and podcast platform Sunthoid, which is mainly focused on promoting such genres as hard techno, trance, tekno, noise, and experimental. Also a resident of a Kyiv-born events series and platform Drift Kyiv.

In her tracks and sets, she creates a dark, energetic, multilayered atmosphere, pursuing styles from all over the globe. She has mastered the craft of building a sophisticated journey, keeping the final destination secret.

Projects Podcast 61 - kult / Industrial Hard Techno

From a need to break free from traditional clubbing practices, DYSPHORICA (mostly she/her) brings her very much needed screaming ability, to a passionate selection of tracks, where noise, distortion, raw kicks, relentless hitting drums and ear-bleeding sounds come together, under what can still be considered industrial techno. As a storyteller DJ, DYSPHORICA crafts nostalgia-inducing tales that follow the highs and lows of being in eternal battles with an idea of self. Through a transgressive and genre-defiant approach, her expression is driven by a never-ending search for meaning and new ways of feeling, both emotionally and physically. Each performance feeds from itself, working as a cathartic act, and space for learning and research.
