Rayndu lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. she successfully avoids templates, merging a wide variety of genres in her mixes. roams between electro and techno, but her selection also includes the more broken, experimental sounds of IDM and ambient. story and narration in each other's sets is of utmost importance to her. She is a member of @femalepressure - transnational online database and network of women*, AFAB, transgender, transfeminine, transmasculine, intersex [+gender optional], genderqueer, gender nonconforming, a-gender and/or non-binary DJs, musicians, composers, producers, visual artists, agents, journalists and researchers working in the realms of electronic music and visual arts. Rayndu also works towards engaging the music community in social issues - she is a part of Beats of Solidarity Collective, which aims at creating events supporting social campaigns and charity.

Electrosexual is the creation of Romain Frequency — the french, Berlin-based music producer and DJ — as well as a vehicle for them to explore gender, art, technology, and alternative sexualities through auditory signals. 

Rooted in queer politics and aesthetics, their music is influenced by synthy acid-house, EBM-tinged techno, Italo disco-flecked electro and dark-disko.

Producing, mixing, and touring for over a decade, the fiercely independent artist has collaborated with the likes of Hard Ton, Aerea Negrot, and Peaches, and performed remixing duties for electronic music legends Ssion, Billie Ray Martin, and David Carretta.

Elextrosexual played an absolut mesmerizing, powerful and very sexy set at our last Garry Klein Birthday party and we are very excited to welcome them to our mix series!

Blush aims to help soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the well-being of the community. Queer DJs are invited to submit a mix to showcase an alternative side to their music library outside of a rave and take us on a meditative journey. ✨

Notes on the mix:

“I listen to alot of ambient, jazz, shoegaze, non-dance music to soundtrack my daily life, turning my design work, long walks, bike rides, chores and meditation into a sort of cinematic beauty. These songs and albums become very personal to me for this reason. Whenever I'm asked to share this music, whether as a DJ set or as a recorded mix it becomes a loaded exchange for me. I worked on compiling this music and recording the mix the week leading up to the total eclipse in my home in Mid City New Orleans. This process proved to be very psychedelic and introspective and the result feels like an important timeline marker in this stage of my life that I will be transported back to anytime I revisit the mix. I hope that in sharing this sonic tapestry, the listener  is able to close their eyes and take a psychedelic carpet ride, a journey inward, riding the sound waves, and allowing them to evoke emotion, thought, and introspection.”

Bouffant Bouffant is a DJ, Producer, and party starter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He cut his teeth in local sex clubs, warehouses, and dive bars but has become a major player on the bubbling American Queer Underground nightlife circuit as well as International jaunts to play for the likes of Cocktail d’Amore, Buttons Berlin, Mustang Paris, and Savage Hanoi. His monthly party Gimme A Reason has been fostering space for queer nightlife in New Orleans for over 9 years and has become known for it's wild and rawkus, no rules policy. In recent years he has delved into the arena of ambient music creating mixes and DJing listening bars like Kwia Berlin.

As a decorated dancer and long time DJ, dertinoises has found their calling on the dance floor. Originally from Vienna they spent a whole summer in front of NYC’s finest sound systems and felt energized by the hypnotic grooves and moody harmonies of the city. In 2017 dertinoises founded Love-Fi to bring their soulful garage house sound to Vienna’s clubs.

JP Bechamel (he/him/his)

Passionate selector, JP's sound is heavily influenced by the early Chicago, New York and Detroit dance music scene of the 80s and 90s. Growing up, JP discovered a strong connection to Jazz and the emotions it evoked. Chasing these feelings in the club, he finally felt at home experiencing underground house music for the first time. Well rooted in the viennese house community and club scene, find JP spreading the feeling as a resident of the collectives Love-Fi and A Party called JACK.

"We’re both big fans of the classic house sound, so it made a lot of sense for us to showcase some of our recent favorites. We went track for track on a chill sunday evening, flowing very naturally since our styles compliment each other quite nicely. In this mix we’re serving delicious euro treats from the early and mid 90s as well as some US classics."
