Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening wherever you may be. For my last mix of the year 2022, I bring to you something a little different. Over the past few months I have become obsessed with Baile Funk music from the beautiful nation of Brazil, and to celebrate this, I have curated this mix of some of my favorite songs from this genre. This year’s World Cup has helped to bring this music more into the mainstream as the Seleção brought the vibes like no one else did. Wherever you are across our planet, from Rio to São Paulo or from Los Angeles to Glasgow as I am currently, please enjoy the sounds of Brazilian Funk to add some spice to your life. Pro tip: listen to this mix right before a football match to unlock your inner Neymar.
