As most of my latest tracks, this one is made entirely on op-1 synth using sounds recordered manually outside the NtouRouTi wine bar located in Limassol, Cyprys with no synth or any other musical unstrument sounds used.

Cyprus Wheel

This track is made using synths and 12 sec radio sample, just for fun. Made entirely on my teenage engineering op-1 synth and posted raw with no post-processing.

Radio Riff

This track is made in a whole new way, unlike any of my previous tracks. Here's my new approach to recording: drums are made on my teenage engineering po-33 sampler with a single drum patch called "Low Down Dub" sampled right from the op1.fun website open on my iphone, the beat's been sequenced and all effects performed live. The bass part's performed live on a classic fender jazz bass put through an ebs microbass II preamp. ukulele and bayan (chromatic accordion) are recorded live through a zoom h5 used as a microphone. and the most interesting part here is: everything's been recorded on a fuji chrome tape cassette and mastered using tascam 414 mk1 4 track fully analog cassette recorder. so this is a fully analog recording, i've only added fades and got it normalised while converting to aiff, no other post production used. enjoy!

Analogue Escape

Long time! This track is pretty experimental - originally meant for an instagram video that never got produced. Made entirely on my teenage engineering op-1 synth with samples taken from roli noise app controlled by a roli lightpad block. Later on i've replaced synth bass with an upright bass recorded live straight into the op-1. Posted raw with only trims and normalisation applied in post-processing.

Naya

This one covers my very first track produced on teenage engineering op-z sequencer. As op-z is a lot of fun, you'll probably notice more tracks like this popping up in the near future. Not sure if there's any other special moments related to it except for the artwork - that's done by me using an ios app named Pixelable.

Take Z

This would be my second attempt to produce a track using teenage engineering op-z - the whole track is sequenced, although a couple of punch in effects and track mutes were performed live. Recorded with Zoom H5 and proudly boasts one of my wife's collages as artwork. I think that's pretty much all about it.

Polyfume

This track is well influenced by my wife - she really liked that drum line, so i decided to evolve it into something easy, winter and positive and here we are. The whole track is made on my teenage engineering op-z with most of the sounds sequenced, while glitches and some effects layered manually. Recorded live with Zoom H5. The artwork is produced by my wife specifically for the tune. Enjoy!

Snow Particles

The very first release of 2019 - produced mostly in Dec 2018, but revisited few times in Russia, Spain and on the airplane flying cross Europe, which makes it the most international track ever. As usually, recorded using Zoom H5 and only trimmed during post. One of Barcelona's graffitis sits in the artwork chair this time.

Fresh And Bass

This one's been requested by my wife for a documental video project. Done on my teenage engineering op-1 including double bass recording. Post done in logic, mainly to add fade ins, room sim and fade outs. The whole thing took less than two hours and i really like those final texture, shape and mood. Not quite sure about the genre though - is that experimental fusion or something?

Lighthouse Station

This is the first track produced as part of #Jamuary 2020 founded and driven by True Cuckoo. I decided to give it a try and will do my best to produce at least one jam daily, although i'm not sure about daily uploads.
This one is done on Teenage Engineering PO-28 Robot (live solo) and PO-20 Arcade (sequencing other sounds), recorded on OP-1.

Jamuary First - Chip Vouage

This is a second #Jamuary 2020 and i'm obviously falling behind :\ This one's produced entirely on my Teenage Engineering OP-1 with some samples from Polish radio station and some taken from Roli Noise app.

Falling Behind

This one evolved from my fiddling with samples taken from one of my abandoned projects recorded in the ROLI NOISE app. Apart from those samples, everything else is done on the mighty Teenage Engineering #OP-1 including mastering. Cropping and normalizing is the only thing done in post. The artwork produced by my wife for the occasion and i think it's way better than the track itself :D Happy #Jamuary!

A Citrussy One

this one was made on my teenage engineering po-33 sampler fed with some samples from op1.fun and acoustic drum kit by hellosamples.com. only a tiny bit of reverb was added in post. artwork was hand drawn specifically for this tune by my fabulous wife @dirty_teeth

Squeak-Hop

This one came out of a quick jam on my teenage engineering po-33 sampler loaded with a saxophone melody i’ve played on the roli lightpad-m block through the noise app. Recorded live and published as is with no post. Artwork is hand drawn by my fabulous wife @dirtyteeth specifically for this tune, which seems to be kind of a tradition now ;)
