[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the seventy-forth release of Launch Records. This time we have a new track by Berx and Kira called ‘Turn Back Time’.

The song starts immediately with a vocal in the background together with some atmospheric sounds. After a while, a baseline is added in the background. On top of that more and more atmospheric sounds are added. In this part, the vocal in the background gets the main attention. On top of that, a clock that is ticking is added to fill up the empty spaces. Hereby added a chord progression is added in the background. As soon as the clock disappears, the main attention goes to these chords. In the background, a subtle uplifting drum loop is added which gets more attention as the track continues. This is the build-up of the track, where at the end only the guitar is audible.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a powerful House track with some Deep House and Shuffle elements in it. In this drop, you hear at first a clean chord progression that repeated itself several times. At the end of each chord progression, a guitar play starts. In the background, a baseline is added as well as some vocals. This baseline is often slightly off-key which creates a unique style. The baseline has much power in it. In the drop, a drum loop is playing which follows the chords. Hereby added are some atmospheric sounds. All sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release together with Berx and Kira who managed to blend both styles together in one track. On top of that a special thank to Aiden for the cover.

[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the twenty-sixth release of Launch Records. This time we got Howen with his song called ‘Expectations’. Howen created a funky track with a really happy melody.

The song starts off with a vocal chop together with piano chords in the background. After a while, a piano play joins in which has kind of the same melody as the drop. On top of that, this melody gives the track a really funky feeling. When the build-up starts a vocal is added together with the piano chords.

When the drop hits you hear a strong melody-line Howen created with his own designed sounds. In the drop, you hear the characteristic funky style of the track. All layers give the track so much atmosphere. The combination between the real piano sounds and the self-designed sounds of Howen makes the track unique. In the second part of the track, you hear the same instruments but the piano play is different. This gives the track the variation that it needs.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release with this talented guy Howen.

Dropping a tenacious power party banger on Smash Deep, Skytters and MWRS have paired for their latest single ‘Fighters’ and boy is this one too hot to handle! 

There’s an almost metallic feel to the songs melodic tone crossed with intersections of entrancing vocal parts throughout the track. The song’s rhythm is explosive but with an endearing temperament will have listeners hooked in for repeat plays from their very first listen. 

Romanian duo Skytters (Alex Mihali and Ionel Timis) have been supplying big name selectors from Fedde Le Grand to Hardwell for a number of years now. With early releases like ‘Love Wave’ receiving supports from artists such, Juicy M and Yves V. To tracks like ‘Takha’, which they collaborated with MWRS on, ‘Loca’ which was a popular release in the sets of Blasterjaxx and their recent ‘Dirty Bass’ on Future House Cloud which has achieved over 150,000 streams for the duo.

MWRS aka Matthew Ros is a young and emerging Italian producer who has only been at the studio desk for a handful of years but already has an impressive list of elite names supporting his music, of which include Hardwell, Dannic, Nicky Romero, Blasterjaxx, Daddy's Groove, Breathe Carolina and many more.
