Awesome track, one of the best songs I ever heard on Soundcloud.

This is an album of covers I did of songs I like. I recorded all of the guitars and about half of the bass myself. The drums and some of the bass are digital. I had so much trouble with Nightmare's song because it had so many parts that I barely knew and learned on the spot, plus I had to use my pedal to get some of the weird high pitched sounds. The other song that was a pain was Killswitch Engage's My Curse because I think I literally learned it as I recorded it. The fingering positions were really funky at first. The one song I learned as I recorded but had almost no trouble may have been Atreyu's Shameful. I had the luxury of having the master tracks and was able to isolate everything to learn it properly. I had some fun with this album. The track list is:

*Just to clarify, I recorded all of the guitars and most of the bass on all of these tracks. If anything else sounds like the real song, that is because it is. I recorded the guitar parts over the real song. I claim no ownership to any of the song writings other than the recorded guitar playing.

Xplore Yesterday (XY) is an alternative metal band from the French Riviera, influenced by bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Bring me the Horizon, Slipknot.

The band began to distribute their music worldwide with the help of Youtube. To date, Xplore Yesterday has registered more than 40 000 followers and obtained over 6 million views. They are also famous for their cover songs of some ot the most recognized bands, mainly from Avenged Sevenfold, whom they met but also for their rock/metal remix covers like Lady Gaga's single "Applause" that she shared herself on her personal social networks increasing the buzz for the band.

In addition, the band regularly plays at home and abroad (Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain...), in March of 2013 they made their American debut in Los Angeles, at the world famous, "Whisky a Go-Go" where some of the biggest names in rock started (Guns n Roses, Rage Against the Machine, ...)

After releasing 2 alternative rock albums ("Another Me" and "Flying") and being nominated for the “Hollywood Music in Media Awards” with their ballad “I miss you”, they decided then to move the opposite way most bands go, they moved from rock to metal and released their 3rd album "MEMORIES NOW DREAMS" in April 2014. They went on tour in May in the USA for 8 gigs.
