We're proud to present our next release from Dead End, an electronic music producer from Portugal. Throughout his time this producer has carved new sonic paths and pushed his creative limits. He takes inspiration from Hip-hop, Halftime, and Dubstep and amalgamates this inspiration to create experimental bass music. The 'Caught The Body' EP opens up a whole new world of experimentation and introduces sub-genres the listener isn't familiar with. With nicknames like “Demon Owl“, “Ghost Owl“ and “Death Owl”, Barn Owls have long been seen as harbingers of death and misfortune by many rural populations. These moon-faced birds are exclusively nocturnal, so with their pale feathers and creepy silent swooping it’s easy to see how they could be mistaken for ghosts. But far from being a bad omen, if you’re ever lucky enough to catch sight of one in real life you’ll see how beautiful these ultra-efficient predators really are. Barn Owls usually nest in (surprise surprise) old barns and hollow trees, and hunt rodents in wild grasslands. Destruction of these habitats is causing Barn Owl numbers everywhere to decline. Protecting rough grass areas and building owl nesting boxes helps, but more needs to be done. and BirdLife International is on it. By donating all proceeds to them we make sure owls have a place in our world!

SkOpus is an integral part of the New Zealand Drum & Bass community. He might not release that much but his music always includes the claim to be timeless and off the mainstream. And that is why we are very happy to present a remarkeable two track single featuring fellow Kiwi producer Fizik. The amazing artwork comes from Mimbelbi.
