The relationship we have with our parents is probably the most important one in our life, especially in the early years. It pretty much determines who are and who we're going to become. Often times it is chaotic, complicated and imperfect. Mine was no exception.

I guess I still hold a lot of unconscious resentment against my mother, as I still have those haunting dreams of fighting with her, calling her those awful names, while she's crying and begging me to stop. I hate those dreams. They, of course, only appeal to the ego, and the ego is a fragile little bastard, that I'm constantly trying to silence. This song is yet another attempt to do that, I guess.

I dedicate this to my mom, Irina. She was just a human, trying her best. Doesn't matter if she succeeded or not.

God bless her soul, wherever she is now.
