This crushed audio power piece awoke the mental bugs in my brain laying their electronic spawn !!! Oh wait a minute, I hope that’s not happening...Anyways, and moving swiftly along, I really dig how you create a really spacious soundscape for these sonic tones to get mangled within !! Very clever use of both distortion and subtle reverb effects.

Amazing post industrial - post technical musical tapestry. Bravo on this one.

That's just on the other side of La Ronde (I think the name has changed, was purchased by Six Flags maybe twenty years ago, and then by another since then, I'm not sure), an amusement park where they shoot firecrackers far up in the air, rockets actually. (See "Gigantic Popcorn" among my other field recordings)

I wanted to make something that reminded me about my trip to Koh Phangan in 1999. I went there with my best friend and it was the best 6 weeks of my life. My friend convinced me to go and I was a bit nervous about leaving university and just go like that. We scraped together as much money as we could and lived on parties, friendship and funky cigarettes. In honor of my best friend Bernt.
