Brooklyn-based producer Adrian Hex has made a striking impact on the NYC underground, making his mark as the next must-watch artist in the US minimal Techno scene.

Using a distinct style of his own, Adrian has developed a forward-thinking sound that has taken reign on dance floors around the country. With his pummeling techno-driven baselines and gritty synth textures, Adrian Hex has set the standard for a new breed of producer. Taking influences from artists such as Rene Wise, DEAS, and Re:Axis - Adrian aims to introduce a hypnotic/minimal techno sound to the US with styles more prominently heard in Europe. With his recent offerings on Portugal-based Trau-ma records, it is apparent that Adrian is well on his way to solidifying his place in the techno community around the globe.

"For this mix, I wanted to shed light on some artists I've been enjoying lately. With an inclusion of a few of my own tracks, the goal is always to introduce listeners to something different that they might not expect. With a wide range of groove-oriented baselines meshed with guttural metallic tendencies, this mix includes a dynamic that will manipulate any crowd into visceral movement."

6AM Guest Mix: Adrian Hex

Hot on the heels of his studio companion who’s just graced us with a treat of a mix last week, here comes Lisbon-based producer and fellow Hayes Collective member Cravo with a couple hours of hard-churning, Birmingham-infused dynamics. 2021 has been the year of breakthrough for the young Portuguese artist, reeling off three choice releases on Ben Klock’s Klockworks, SK_Eleven and New Rhythmic within a few months time, and 2022 shall see him converting the try in compelling manner. Carlo's musical journey began in the realm of industrial synth, evolved during the warehouse years, and ultimately found its home in the darker side of techno with droned up soundscapes and repetitive rhythms that create a deeply immersive hypnotic experience.

He began playing during the early days of the underground scene's rise. Through his mixes, he always aims to provide the same journey he would like to experience himself. Carlo's sets are a journey through dark,hypnotic and dystopic soundscapes with glimpses of brightness and hope.
