Saado Cali Warsame was a legendary Somali singer, abwaan and activist. She was known as an outspoken musician. With her sold-out plays and albums, she sang about love, relationships but also about social and political injustice. Known for being an outspoken musician and activist, Saado became a member of parliament in 2012. Two years later she and her driver were killed in a drive-by shooting. This is the first part of the musical ode to the legacy Saado left us. 

In this first part we talk about the beginning of Saado's career, the many roles she played in different riwaayaddo, Saado's body of work as a abwaan and Saado's involvement in Silsiladda Deelleey.
