What are you waiting for? Go on, jump in. The water is warm and a liquid paradise awaits. The poolside was a place of elegant sophistication, ladies watched hazily from loungers as gentlemen swam beaneath the lush blue ripples. Over by the bar the music could be heard pouring from small monitors, it echoed blissfully through the open air and travelled beyond the walls of the palace. All is well for what lies within but over the wall, a perilous plague had began to unfold. They remained happily ignorant inside the palace whilst the world fell to turmoil. 

Red Axes have developed a notoriety unlike few others. In recent years they have powered through the ranks releasing music on the likes of Permanent Vacation, Crosstown Rebels and more. They have amassed quite the reputation. Now they are joined by friends from far and wide on a remix EP for Thomas Von Party's Multi Culti label. He collaborates with them and creates an alternate version of 'Waiting For A Surprise'.

Kasper Bjørke is finishing off another busy year, with a special treat in the form of Klint, a bouncy and dirty proto house jam that has been causing quite a stir on dancefloors all over, since the track was released as part of Kaspers Mini-LP Fountain of Youth this summer.

Now Klint is getting the single release it deserves, backed with some killer remixes from the Multi Culti crew and the Hivern Discs homeboy Marc Piñol.

Thomas von Party (@vonparty) from Multi Culti drops a stunning piece of voodoo, adding waves of his signature percussion and shamanic vibes.

A remix pack is nothing more than the universe experiencing its own dance music subjectively. With this in mind, we took Ecuadorian sound-seer Nicola Cruz’s latest audiovisions and refracted them through the minds of some of the world’s hottest young cultural interpreters. To provide you with the best possible approximation of what the results feel like, we then sent an intern to loiter outside a local Heart-Opening Ceremony to get people’s unfiltered reactions just moments after they awakened to their new place in the universal order.

All That She Wants (The Gentle Voice That Talks To You Exhibition), 2017

BILONGO LILA is a new media performance which debuted on May 27, 2017 at the Mills College Greek Amphitheater. The piece took the audience through a hyper-digital, psychedelic vision of our planet 1500 years in the future.

This piece fleshes out the slow ecological decline of earth, which leads to both a traumatic break in historical continuity and an opportunity for cultural rebirth for those that remain. In particular, the performance investigates what this future can mean when used to imagine alternative realities for the marginalized: people of color, women, trans and queer folks. This work is dually concerned with examining white patriarchy and late technological capitalism, and how both have advanced the conditions evidenced in climate change.
This piece is intended to lend visibility to othered bodies, and as such, it is comprised of dancers and musicians who are of color, and/or identify as women, trans, and/or queer.
The two-act performance renders our new earth into a corrupted but thriving ecosystem, one that is digital while also being organic and unknowable. Through video, dance and music—ranging from experimental improvisation to pop interventions—the work serves as a journey through desolate shores, impossible ecology, mutants, and ruined cities, eventually culminating in a visitation from three future deities inspired by Santeria’s Orishas.
