Bag Of Bones - Mitski (live cover)

As in every other cover I post, I recorded all the instruments myself.... Sadly, there's no guitar in this version because I can't go out to buy new strings..... Mine are wrecked lol! So I tried to set an ambience with the key-board. Try to imagine you're floating in nothing, like in you're in Space!! That's how I felt at least, haha!
        Although I'm a HUGE fan of Grimes work, I also appreciate her as a person, and this song shows a very human side of her, which personally, I think is beautyful. "Delete Forever" is favorite one from Miss Anthropocene, and it tickles a very specific emotion of mine... It's quite sad and dark actually, but it still.. A part of me...?
        Well, excuse any weird thing (production and voice-wise lol). I'm still getting to know my new recording props and learning overall.

Delete Forever - Grimes (cover)

As you can see I was finally able to acquire new guitar strings!!! YAY!~ I was almost going crazy not being able to play guitar for such a long time. On the other hand, my key-board skills got better... Hopefully? Hahahah! This cover is way simpler than the other, but I hope you enjoy it as well!
     Again, I played all the instruments, produced and sang as well in this record. Maybe all this social isolation due to the pandemic is really messing with my energy levels and routine in general. I'm bored. I'm on fire. And I make noise producing (these covers and the band's songs) ALL DAY LONG lol! Poor neighbours of mine. I'm genuinely sorry! ... Still, I need to stay sane until I can go to the park, museum or see my fellow friends again. <3
     I really miss things I used to take for granted before and it breaks my heart. A few days ago, my dad came by to drop a few things... And when we couldn't hug each other - for the greater good -, I felt extremely bad. I missed him even more. Mom is also not cuddling, because she's still going to work. She has no option... And neither do I.
      I can't wait for this to be over.  And I'm sorry for always covering sad songs - even though they sound cute hahaha! But I guess... I empathize way more with them. I'm not always sad... I find almost everything funny and I love fooling around, being silly and random. But... This is always how I feel at the end of the day. It's always been like this. I'll come up with a happy song. I promise.

     Can't wait for it all to be over. LIFE, GET BACK TO NORMAL....PLEASEEEEE!

Ps: Alec Benjamin is an awesome artist!! I love his songs, albums and even demos lol! His personality is also really cute. If you liked this, you'll probably appreciate his beautiful work as well. <3

     So far so good? Probably not, but still... I really hope you're all doing well. 2020 has not been a forgiving year for humanity, but hupefully a year from now things will be better. :)
     Official UFO videos released!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I always knew I was not crazy for believing them... Like, the universe is so big, and (theoretically) in constant expansion, with lots of stars as well... If a planet like ours exist in our solar system, others with similar conditions possibly exist as well... Hm, I'm sorry. I could go all night long about this. Such "exo-citing" news, HAHA! - And I'm sorry for the awful pun I just made...
     Not to get too off topic, this is another cover I made for a friend of mine. We met on Twitter and it feels like we've known each other for ages, I simply LOVE this kind of energy! He's studying for designer school admission, and I hope he gets inspired while listening to this.

This song is super important to me. I remember listening to it at 6th grade and bopping so hard to the lyrics - haha! Does anybody else relate to them as well?

I also recorded a video singing this song, and I'm genuinely fighting my shyness to post it at my Intagram (@beatriznuit)... Yeah, I know. It doesn't really makes sense not wanting to bother posting content at my OWN account but... yeah. Hahahha!

I'm trying to get better at producing and masterizing, mixing, the keybord, guitar, singing, recording, etc,etc... So the covers may take a while, but I'll eventually post them all! There are so many more to come, I hope you like it <3
