Fresh from his recent feature in the ‘Breaking Standards’ VA with the vicious track ‘Kavatza’ and after a full length EP on Renegade Methodz under his other moniker “Boy Tzortz” the producer and dj from the west suburbs of Athens is a familiar face with the resistance. 
Already a true renegade himself by establishing and curating his own label ‘Vanila’ as well as the 'Agia Varvara Originals' sub-label the athenian artist has released monumental records that sets him apart from anyone else in the scene.

“I have never hide the fact that ANFS is one my favourite electronic music artists of all time. 
I believe that his sound is extremely singular and i am sure that time will prove me right. 
I was waiting eagerly for the right moment to have him in the series and finally this time has come. 
He has provided a 2 hours long mix to masterfully present his ever involving sound - a sound that it is still uniquely his own but at the same time it has moved to exciting new directions. 
This is a sign of a true artist. Always pushing forward and never feeling outdated.

Where the first chapter offered a glimpse into the darkness, this compilation plunges you headfirst into its crushing depths. The soundscapes presented are even more disorienting and unsettling, a cacophony of distorted textures and abstract rhythms that defy easy categorization. Moments of near silence are punctuated by bursts of jarring noise, creating a sense of unease and anticipation. The journey is relentless, pushing the boundaries of perception and leaving the listener suspended in a state of perpetual tension. This is not a passive listening experience, but rather an active confrontation with the unsettling and the unknown. Prepare to be consumed.

Dasha Rush is a Russian born artist who sees the genre as a starting place not a destination. She is a respected and well-travelled DJ and live performer, but her work is equally focussed away from the dance floor, and sometimes away from music itself. Her recent album for Raster-Noton, Sleepstep, could be a metaphor for her work: "These 16 pieces are transmissions from that state between sleep and wakefulness," said Tony Naylor, a reflection of the in-between zones her music often inhabits. Dubby but intense, brutal but tender, foggy yet clear—Sleepstep was a wonderful mass of contradictions. Not being one thing or the other is vitally important to Rush, which goes hand-in-hand with her strong independent streak. The majority of the music she's released since starting out in 2005 has come through her own Fullpanda label and, as she told us in 2013, she's resistant to playing the publicity game in the way many in the scene do. That's meant she's remained off the radar for some techno fans, but it's also given her the freedom to explore projects and sounds as she pleases. With all this mind, it was little surprise that our invitation to record a podcast was met with, "Yes, but it won't be a club mix." What we got instead was an absorbing 65 minutes of dense ambient soundscapes that shows Rush at her most reflective. The mix comes ahead of the North American premiere of Antarctic Takt, Rush's A/V show with Stanislav Glazov, at this week's Mutek festival in Montreal.

Drawing inspiration from punk’s rawness, dub’s spatial decay, and techno’s primal drive, XVIV weaves drone’s meditative dissonance and experimental noise into a seamless, fluid architecture. Layers of bass and fragmented vocals coalesce into mantric patterns that resonate like a forgotten ritual—a pulse that dissolves the self into something vast and interconnected.
The music’s repetitive pulse invites listeners to immerse themselves in its current, transforming passive reception into a collective journey—a shared merging with its transient flow. This is music as a temporary autonomous zone: an ephemeral space where the narrative of routine dissolves, replaced by the immediacy of the amplified present. It’s a space where the noise of the everyday fades, and for a moment, you can feel the cracks in the system, the glimpses of what could be. No grand claims, no prescriptions. Only voltage. Not music to hear, but to fall into.
