Not the best title but meh its sounds like that I don't know how to define it but the XW-G1 has those sounds.

The Great Gatsby (XW-G1)

A Patch for the XW-G1 still in the works has a nice vibe. Finally mastered a few stuff to keep it in one performance patch instead of two.  Made step sequence pattern with synth pad sound then used arpeggio for the drums finally a solo synth layered with two other pad sounds.  Check casiomusicforum.

HipHop - walking tall (XW-G1)

I used the sample looper of the G1 to create this song. First programmed each drum separate  with effect and recorded it in the sampler layer by layer. Ive then set the volume level of every tone on top of the drum loop the screaming tone comes from solo synth or pcm tone of the G1.

DarkHouse - Skyscraper (XW-G1)

The XW-G1 has this cool step sequence Trance 1, I just tried something and that became a song its not clean but gives the general idea. I've recorded it in 64kb mp3 format which gave it that grainy kinda sound did not notice that but I also liked how it sound by accident.

(edit) The thing is actually you can hit chord with the left hand pressing keyshift that what I did later I discovered it was best if I've use the chaining function to do the chord for me leaving the key's to play full scale but hey now I know :).

Still I Did This Just A Little (XW-G1)

An performance patch which gave me an atmosphere like a detective searching for clue's, Lost this patch somewhere cause I've reset my G1 lesson learned Do a Save All.

NightShade Performance Demo (XW-G1)

This used the sample looper to sample a beat with the G1 drumsets on top I've layered solo synth tones adjusted resonance , attack etc with control knobs. Then I've loosely recreated one particular solo synth which really gives a screeching sound no more like a SCREAM. recorded it into my four track well the rest is history enjoyed this one its a screamer.

DarkHouse - Nightscreech (XW-G1)

The G1 has large set of bass and snare drums to play with its easy to program a sequence into the step sequencer when you're beat is done clean velocity up a bit. I've created a new performance patch DAYMOTION 
recorded it into my four track boss br recorder then I've used several solosynths and some of the effects of the four track recorder to layer it up.
Could have done it in a daw making it nice and clean but I can do that always later, If I am inspired it has to be now and that is what you hear.

I was working on several performance patches and the problem with that is that stuff gets tangled up. On the one side you try to create a cool patch but idea's keep coming in and its a good thing the G1 can work with you're mingling mix switching from mode to mode and saving it all. I'm almost there you just don't know when it's finished :).  When you do it just right you can get the wanted sounds out of the G1.

Rocking with the G1 alone is sufficient I've now noticed. Its one performance patch but I've recorded it on my four track for mixing purpose. Next version will be raw but I cant play key's with two hands I'm still a noob.

This patch was very easy I combined piano , pno , and a pad in zones, The sequence is different, Usually I make one sequence in step sequence mode its like two patterns and leave it like that. Few day's later I've played the sequence and totally change it into a different vibe. Now I just need a name for that patch.

You and Me Let's Swirl Around and Around

This Performance patch is one complex piece of work and made me realize I'm becoming the pro patch maker I wanted to be. All sounds coming from the  Casio XW-G1.   Its a bit hard to explain so I sum it up how I did it. First the drum sequence where from an early sequence work but again not satisfied beat was meh not sexy I wanted a bit of sexy beat and manage one pattern so frustrated skipped that and made a performance patch to build a warm nice Lead sound not overwhelming but a sound good enough to dance with succeeded but to make it better I need to look if  I can convert this performance patch into a Solosynth tone, I created several other tones like the an ADX Electric Guitar patch and a solosynth patch I named Kayed. And as usual I must make music to hear how it sound because it not one performance patch I've recorded it into my Boss Br four track recorder the melody honestly it came out of my fingers when I hit the key and played the whole thing like wow this synth crazy or I am getting talented. Hmmm its still a work in progress tho

Created a Performance patch Radius8Spark for the G1 I wanted a new kind of pad sound that and find out how to use the Step-sequencer as an effect module using the controls alone. Star Vine Fligh High

I made this patch which uses the solo-synth of the G1 as Oscillator Shaper. This is done by creating you're synth sound shape with the envelopes , filters etc but you zero down the volume for each of the five oscilators or which one currently used and save that file. 

In the performance zone one gets the Oscillator Shaper synth and zone 2 and 3 gets any sound that will be shaped by zone 1. 

And this is how it sounds. The G1 can do wicked stuff I'm on half of its 
possibility's plus I'm learning how to work with synths without a computer.

I made new patches on the XW-G1 with a more ambient sound to it.

This patch has a nice long reverb to it and an subtle  DSP effect to a saw tone which forms an pleasant hum sound. 

I call this ambient song Radio Silence the night falls the sun shows its last ray's of the day by revealing the night blue of sky while a lonely cloud pass by the day become silent as the daily noise shimmers down, this is when we look into skyline and enjoy the view.

I've worked on performance patches , sequences, phrases, arpeggio's and solo synth on the Casio XW-G1 my go to keyboard 
for inspiration. As any other this synth brings you places you need 
only learn to know how. 

These are shorts how they all sound.

Oxygen

I was trying to establish a tune that sync's the sound steadily and found out the delay and arpeggio on the PX5S where suited for this. 

This a sound bite experiment on the PX5S with arpeggio and delay with sync, the sync gives a more vibrant color to the sound. There also a control track for the arpeggio I could have use but that something for next time cause this can go way further then what I've made here. 

The delay is programmable as is the the control track of the arpeggio and can be applied to all four zone's. Actually some narly EDM and IDM sounds can be establish with both of these.

The first sound I call World Engine like the one in the Superman man of steel. 
The solo-synth can be programmed with midi designer for the ipad I've found that satisfying working with an visual interface and sculpt the sounds.

nothing else. It was kinda an accidental experiment that had a sweet vibe to it.

Meditative music i've made with the PX-5S its one stage on which the flow of the sound can be changed with the sliders and knob. 

Sit or lay back take a deep breath and breath out again release yourself release it downwards let it flow out like as if you do it as a waterfall.
