Get Physical Music revisits Groove Armada's 2014 hit 'Rescue Me' and serves it up with a Roland Leesker edit as well as an all-new remix from DJ Island. 

'Rescue Me' was part of the iconic British dance duo's Stairwell Felony EP and has remained an underground favourite. The original is raw, deep and full of twists and turns from the frazzled melodies to the jazzy sax motifs. The house drums hit hard with splintered edges, while a 90s bassline brings the heady vibe as a classic soul vocal lights up a track that is always keeping you guessing. 

The excellent remix comes from DJ Island, one-half of Get Physical duo Monkey Safari and a long-time student of house music. His version is more tense and restyled with a tech house feel. The steamy vocals tease and please before the big drums drop and classic piano chords bring the colour to an emotive ride 

Roland Leesker's You Got To Dance Edit goes bigger still - the chords get more twisted, the drums are supersized and the crunchy hits burst out of the speakers to make an immediate impact. At the breakdown, things take a wonderful left turn with a trippy whistle and big chanting male vocals that take things to another level entirely. 

This is a trio of fresh house cuts all designed for slightly different moments in the night.

Clavis is a collaboration from German producers Manuel Tur and Adrian, AKA Urban Absolutes of Paskal & Urban Absolutes.

Today's exclusive premiere comes from the duo off a special 20 year anniversary of Freerange Records. The label, run by Jamie ‘Jimpster’ Odell and Tom Roberts, has marking the occasion with the summer release of a carefully curated and lovingly assembled 20 track, five vinyl box set featuring exclusive new music from associates old and new, as well as with a worldwide events series.

Few labels make it to twenty releases let alone twenty years strong. Often doing so without making any real fuss, now is the time that Freerange Records deserves its time in the spotlight, and this compilation more than proves that.

We are closing this Autumn season with a dose of love. Today Mario Basanov feat. Donny Montell release their EP 'Truly Love' of two tracks. 

For the very first time Donny met Mario at his studio back in 2008 to create music. 'I was so impressed by his talent. Mario is a genius, and I was influenced by him since then', Donny says.' Michael Jackson is my idol. When I was a kid, he was like an educational book for me. I learned his style of dance, vocal sound, and his performance manners. Thus, Mario had a vision and convinced me to sing vocally in Michael Jackson's style and create a Motown vibe.'

Mario has emphasized that the purpose of his contribution was to return to his roots. To have the same hook as when he started 14 years ago.

The First track of the EP 'Truly Love' reflects 60s and 70s style full of rhythm and blues. Sweet taste of the first impression creates a positive mood that allows you to believe in love at first sight.

The Second track 'Feel Good' has this feeling of uncertainty, like the musical line in the piece - as if strong, but later acquiring rock and jazz motifs - reflects uncertainty and indecision - the possibility of improvising.
