ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਉ ਕਰਿ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ,
I serve the Guru, and humbly bow to Him.

ਆਜੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਮੰਗਲਚਾਰ ॥
ਮੇਰੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ,
Today is a day of celebration for me.

ਆਜੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਮਹਾ ਅਨੰਦ ॥
ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਬੜਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।
Today I am in supreme bliss.

ਚਿੰਤ ਲਥੀ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥੧॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।੧।
My anxiety is dispelled, and I have met the Lord of the Universe. ||1||

ਆਜੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਬਸੰਤ ॥
ਹੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ,
Today, it is springtime in my household.

ਗੁਨ ਗਾਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਬੇਅੰਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
I sing Your Glorious Praises, O Infinite Lord God. ||1||Pause||

ਆਜੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਬਨੇ ਫਾਗ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਫੱਗਣ ਦੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਬਣੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ,
Today, I am celebrating the festival of Phalgun.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਖੇਲਨ ਲਾਗ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ) ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਇਹ ਹੋਲੀ) ਖੇਡਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ ।
Joining with God's companions, I have begun to play.

ਹੋਲੀ ਕੀਨੀ ਸੰਤ ਸੇਵ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹ ਹੋਲੀ ਕੀਹ ਹੈ?) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਲੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ
I celebrate the festival of Holi by serving the Saints.

ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਅਤਿ ਲਾਲ ਦੇਵ ॥੨॥
(ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਰੰਗ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।੨।
I am imbued with the deep crimson color of the Lord's Divine Love. ||2||

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਮਉਲਿਓ ਅਤਿ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਖਿੜ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਖਿੜ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ । 
My mind and body have blossomed forth, in utter, incomparable beauty.

ਸੂਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਛਾਵ ਧੂਪ ॥
ਹੁਣ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਣ ਚਾਹੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਣ (ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ) ਆਤਮਕ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਵਤ ਕਦੇ ਮੁੱਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ।
They do not dry out in either sunshine or shade;

ਸਗਲੀ ਰੂਤੀ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥
(ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
they flourish in all seasons.

ਸਦ ਬਸੰਤ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਦੇਵ ॥੩॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।੩।
It is always springtime, when I meet with the Divine Guru. ||3||

ਬਿਰਖੁ ਜਮਿਓ ਹੈ ਪਾਰਜਾਤ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨੋ-ਕਾਮਨਾ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਵਰਗੀ) ਪਾਰਜਾਤ ਰੁੱਖ ਉੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ,
The wish-fulfilling Elysian Tree has sprouted and grown.

ਫੂਲ ਲਗੇ ਫਲ ਰਤਨ ਭਾਂਤਿ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਫੁੱਲ ਤੇ ਫਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ।
It bears flowers and fruits, jewels of all sorts.

ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣਹ ਗਾਇ ॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ,
I am satisfied and fulfilled, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੪॥੧॥
ਸਦਾ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ) ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।੪।੧।

Please, carry Nanak across the terrible, deep dark pit of the world to the other side. ||3||8||30||

ਰਾਮ ਗੁਸਈਆ ਜੀਅ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਨਾ ॥
O Lord, Master of the earth, Life of the soul,

ਮੋਹਿ ਨ ਬਿਸਾਰਹੁ ਮੈ ਜਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
please do not forget me! I am Your humble servant. ||1||Pause||

ਮੇਰੀ ਹਰਹੁ ਬਿਪਤਿ ਜਨ ਕਰਹੁ ਸੁਭਾਈ ॥
Take away my pains, and bless Your humble servant with Your Sublime Love.

What wisdom will lead me to attain my Beloved? ||1||Pause||

ਐਸੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
