The Rome based DJ and producer PREST doesn’t commit to a single genre. Instead, he prefers to explore global club music and percussive sounds, in particular UK Bass, Garage, Breakbeat, Electro, Leiftfield House.

His latest release - Body + Mind - came out via XXIII and it has been supported on sets from NTS, Boiler Room, Rinse, Worldwide FM, you name it.

You can find Prest on his regular residency at Radio Raheem in Milan or running Radio Sugo, an independent music-broadcasting platform in Rome.

ATABAQUE SESSIONS is Sunson's debut release with XXIII and it is a statement to rescue the original Funk Carioca/Proibidão by using samples of Mc Marcelly or Mc Boca. All over the five tracks Sunson mixes elements of tribal music with funk using their concept and musicality.
