"Voices" is dedicated to telling a story about a girl, a friend of ours, who is bipolar, making it difficult for her to make proper decisions and look appropriately at life.
We've decided to write this song and tell her story to help increase awareness of how hard it is to be in the shoes of those with bipolar disorder. She describes this disease as having a toxic self that is always there, but no one can hear it except her.
The girl has trouble overcoming her toxic self because part of her knows that it's all imaginary, but the self still speaks as her, so she replies, and the cycle keeps repeating itself.
