// < s c h e n k > discovered his passion for electronic music and DJing at an early age when he began working with sound, lighting, and event technology. What started with setting up and renting out equipment eventually led him to DJing and music production.

His experience with sound and lighting systems gave him a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the electronic music scene. This knowledge enabled him to shape his musical vision with precision and create an immersive sonic experience.

Since he started producing, his approach has gone far beyond simple mixing. He deconstructs tracks into their individual elements, isolates specific sounds, and recombines them to create a new unique atmosphere. Over the years, his sound has evolved and solidified into a hypnotic, dystopian sonic landscape-driven by pulsating rhythms and futuristic, laser-like synths.

Since 2017, < s c h e n k > has been gaining club experience and has shared the decks with artists such as Stef Mendesidis, Bart Skils, ∅ [Phase], Kobosil, and Matrixxman. In addition to renowned Swiss clubs like Space Monki and Rok, he has played at numerous venues in Karlsruhe and the surrounding area.

After years as a key figure in the regional scene and co-founder of the Drauf & Drunter event series, < s c h e n k > has now moved to Berlin. Here, he is looking for a new musical home to further develop his sound and perform regularly in front of a local audience.
