A Shoo In For The Shut In Awards is one of two new albums I am releasing more or less simultaneously. It is an indie art rock centered album as opposed to Essential Travel, which is more of an experimental album. This album explores different styles of indie ranging from new wave, worldbeat, neo soul, neo psych, post rock, and other things. All of the lyrics have redpill conscious themes, such as 'The Shot', which is an anti-vax song, 'Chinatown' (which attacks the tyrannical lockdown of our country due to Convid and the attempted Communist takeover from China), or the appropriately titled '5g', an anti-5g song of course.

Essential Travel is one of two albums I released in early 2021. Essential Travel is the more experimental of the two; ranging from the post-jazz prog punk of 'When It Rains It Swings', the industrial avant-funk/hiphop of 'My God Machine' and 'Fag Checka', the post-metal of 'The Devil's Design', the microtonal new wave of 'Forcing The End' and beyond. 

In spite of this, there are the occasional less experimental moments, such as the garage rocking 'The Sunken Land Of Atlantis' or the late 90s trip hop of 'Dependence Day'. Lyrically the album continues my trademark redpilled conscious songwriting as I tackle everything from the tyranny of vaccine passport IDs ('Sunken Land') to lampooning Facebook 'fact checkers' ('Fag Checka') to various poetic visions of our apocalyptic future ('When It Rains...', the title track, 'Forcing The End', 'Dependence Day') and more.

Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater is a redpilled audio theater miniseries that uses a mix of surreal fantasy, comedy, horror, scifi and paranoid fiction to discuss apocalyptic themes. The first (and possibly only) season explores the fates of six different Illuminati villians (nicknamed 'The Baphomet Billionaires') as they are shown their horrid pasts, presents & futures in a sort of surreal meta-Dickensian fashion. The characters are a part of the greater Samsara Junkyard universe, which also includes a short story series (Small's Potatoes), comic strip (Comica Apocalyptica) and eventually an opera (Plaid The Pimp Tailor: A Samsara Junkyard Yarn). Also here is 'Tell A Vision' a one-off Samsara Junkyard special from 2020 including several familiar SJ characters (Orville Rothsadult, Hyper Dolphin & more) but it predates Perdition Theater and, along with the Various Vortices theatrical episode 'The Chemtrail Caper Concerto', laid the seeds for it with its audio theater format.

Also in this playlist: The Various Vortices of Xylen Roberts is a spirituality/conspiracy theory centered variety show that uses a mixture of comedy, music and discussion to tackle issues. Topics range from the dangers of 5G and vaccines to chemtrails/weather weapons to political correctness and more. Beyond the first season, all subsequent episodes have been in a livestream format on D Live and other sites instead HOWEVER some of the purely audio based elements are included in this playlist.  Several of the characters who later got wrastled into Samsara Junkyard started in one-off and reoccurring short skits from Various Vortices (and earlier related videos), sort of like how The Simpsons originally started from little Tracy Ulman Show skits.  Hence, it made sense to put them all in the same playlist. In partcular, Episode 2 of Various Vortices was a one-off audio theater which predicted Perdition Theater by a few years.

 A little more about the host Xylen Roberts: I'm a singer/songwriter/rapper/multiinstrumentalist/producer/comedian/short story and skit writer/conspiracy theorist who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. My lyrics often are inspired by the conspiracy realm and the music Is experimental and eclectic; and my skits are surreal and thought provoking.

From my new radio theater series Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater comes part 1 of FULL TITLE 'The Baphomet Billionaires Holiday Hellscape Part 1: A Christmas Scarol' livestreamed on Tuesday night's Various Vortices. The title was shortened above to fit within parameters. A part of the greater Samsara Junkyard universe of course (which eventually will include a separate animated series called Samsara Junkyard: The Animated Apocalypseries and a webcomic, Samsara Junkyard: Comica Apocalyptica).

 This episode features Illuminati elite scumbags Professor Pussycat Bitch, Detective Mook, Third Wave Francine and more encountering Death, the Dickens ghosts, and more at a Christmas Party. A revised version of the partially improvised story from last year's Christmas Special. Part 2 of the story will drop sometime in early February and will spin off into a Valentine's Day theme rather than Christmas.

 This particular radio serial incarnation of Samsara Junkyard was born from the ashes of my short lived Tell A Vision radio serial but also containing many characters of mine who have been involved in one off skits and stories going back to 2017. These characters include Hyper Dolphin, Detective Mook, Sanjay the Guru, Uncle Corn Pops, Leonard Mothman, and more. As far as the radio series is concerned, a limited run first season of 5 to 7 episodes of around 20ish minutes in length coming in early 2022. As stated earlier, I hope to expand the series into a separate animated form sometime after that.

This is the second episode of the first season of my radio theater series Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater and the second part to the first 'Holiday Hellscape' saga. In this episode, The Grim Reaper runs down everyone's pasts and then explores the horrid presents of two of the Baphomet Billionaires: Third Wave Francine and Professor Pussycat Bitch. In Episode 3 of Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater, we look at the oppressive insanity of Detective Mook and the modern corrupt cop/Fedboi wing of the Illuminati. The main meat of the story involves a scenario in which Mook 'cracks down' on a family celebrating the now outlawed Independence Day instead of the new state holiday Mommy State Dependence Day...and with their own non-GMO food and over social distancing capacity at that! How dare they!

Along the way we encounter the omnipresent Ask Lucy copbot, Patriot Front-style fedboi phoney Motorfed, numerous surreal nightmarish hellscapes, and of course the judge of it all in the afterlife, God and The Devil's mediary The Grim Reaper.

This radio theater and all its contents (story content, voices, music) written, performed, recorded, edited and produced by Xylen Roberts (Chris Robertson). The radio theater does, however, include a number of foley sound effects downloaded for free from Freesound.org and processed via effeccts processors.

One of Plaid Tepesh's friends, who is some sort of clown but with politically incorrect opinions, gets killed unfortunately by this raging bearded bitch and Plaid and the Samsara Junkyard good guys whathaveyou crew will avenge him! This version is a rough cut. This song may wind up on a future episode of Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater probably, kinda, sort, we will see. Most likely will be released on my next album Frequent Dreamer Miles though.

Instead its a song about revelations and Biblical ideas of the apocalypse which was oddly enough written by Chris Carter in spite of it being performed by PM Dawn. Studio version of a song I debuted in a rough form about a week ago. A song about a dystopic future where 1984 style smart cities work in conjunction with poisonous GMO fast food to poison and enslave humanity and a few brave warriors who fight back against it. Lyrics after intro paragraphs.

This song is one of my 're embodiments' that samples a number of things including the Chemical Brothers classic 'One Too Many Mornings' (throughout entire song), 90s outsider preacher Reverend X (beginning), an old Taco Bell/Blockbuster Video ad (midway) and the classic 'mad as hell' scene from the 70s film The Network (outro). Credit where credit is due. 

This is probably not the final mix of this song. I want to add some of my own piano to it before it gets released on album/EP.

Xylen Roberts-Exit Medley: Christmas In The Loony Bin/L.O.T. Dance *Full Ep Link Below*

Sneak peak at one of the next (or rather 'prequel') Plaid The Pimp Tailor installments 'Plaid The Pimp Tailor 2: The Splinters Of Winter'. For the remaining 6 Plaid installments (and to some degree their Soothsayer instrumental sidekicks), I have been exploring more of a style I like to call 'math rock medleys'. Following the format I explored many years ago on a couple of tracks off my 2014 album Expanding Squares, the songs shift tempos and time signatures numerous times. This is one such example. The lyrics were entirely improvised and will probably go through some revisions before the final version. Expect Plaid The Pimp Tailor 2: The Splinters Of Winter and the Plaid The Pimp Tailor 1: Nephilim Skim Milk (the prequels to Plaid The Pimp Tailor 3: Wormhole To Indonesia that I released this past Summer) to drop sometime in February. The remaining installments that follow Plaid and Soothsayer 3 will drop throughout 2024. Stay tuned.

Plaid The Pimp Tailor is an apocalyptic adventure series that follows a redpilled freedom fighter named Plaid and various friends as they traverse Samsara Junkyard, a hyperreality version of our own world, investigating mysteries and conspiracies of one form or another. It is accompanied by the Soothsayer Series, which is of instrumental nature as opposed to Plaid's vocal/lyric based take. Each set of 2 of the overall 14 album series takes place in a different environment: spooky rural (aka Halloween), winter, tropical, rainforest, desert, Hollywood's fake 'space' and finally sky. 'Medeski Martin & Wolves' and The Splinters Of Winter album it is from takes place in a winter landscape (The Siberian/Antarctic Area to be exact) and is the big brother of the previously released instrumental Mythshifter album 'Soothsayer 2: Snow Angels and Ice Demons Of The Frozen Purgatory' available on Gumroad and to listen to on several sites.

Fake right controlled op pop rapper "Shalom" MacDonald teamed up with Mossad agent Cringe 'no talent hack who only got where he is today through Ashkenazi nepotism and Masonic connections' Shillpiro to deliver one of the cringiest hits to come out in recent memory. Then they used their said 'connections' to force the song up the gaping butthole of the completely compromised and corrupted music industry so they could then remove it from said butts and shove it down everyone's throats much like a Billy Ellish flavored dosage of vomit inducing Ipecac. In Episode 7 of The Various Vortices of Xylen Roberts Podcast, I present to you a spooooooooky summer themed music showcase. We will be hearing songs from conscious British rapper Rubb, experimental electronic producer Johnny Jitters (in the form of his projects Noots and Rainsleep) from Pittsburgh PA, my experimental folk/art rock project Phantom Fingers (as well as one Xylen Roberts track), and pirate folk metal rocker Pirates De Dios (aka Pirate Larry), who is out roaming the Seven Seas as we speak. How appropriate for a maritime themed project, eh? Of course this isn't your ordinary beach boogie: Over here on Razzleberry Island, the apocalypse has come early this year and the beaches and sunny tourist destinations are overflowing with cannibal cyclops, flying bat demons and other wretched beasts spewed up from the depths of hell; Pan the God of Panic doing a pan flute solo in his Dick Dale Tribute Band; zombie surfers and their zombie land lovers too stuck inside their I Phones and VR headsets to view the world around them, let alone anything resembling TRUTH. Annnnnnnnnnd so on and so forth. Yes indeed the Rapture is in full force at this year's Summer Spooktacular....and I don't mean popular early 00s dance rock darlings The Rapture lol. Although that would be cool too. Dance punk is do for a comeback. You know who else is due for a comeback? Jesus Christ, baby! Whoooooooooah! Zinger! I got a whole bucketful of these Apocalypse centered jokes, baby! 

Anyway, that's what we got going on here at the VV Podcast this week. This will be the last podcast for a while, in fact. I am putting it on an indefiinite hiatus for re-tooling as I am trying to figure it how to bring it to a livestreaming audience over at D-Live, in which I will mix the pre-recorded skits/serials and music with LIVE interviews and discussions. But I am also taking a break to focus on BOTH completing a number of music albums AND developing 3 or 4 LIMITED RUN (5-7 episodes) radio serials including Anti-SJW Action Squad!, The Red Dragon Pirate Happy Hour! Originally intended to become a radio series, Tell A Vision ended up a one off episode before I focused my attention instead on my new radio theaters Samsara Junkyard: Perdition Theater, which I've already released a few episodes, as well as the limited run Plaid The Pimp Tailor (coming soon). Tell A Vision therefore is a similar one off to 'The Chemtrail Caper Concerto' but no less entertaining and biting with truth.

Originally broadcast on the Electionsgiving Special of The Various Vortices Of Xylen Roberts in November 2020: TELL A VISION was a radio series in which our anti-heroic heroes Hyper Dolphin, Duck Billed Hickock, Leonard Mothman and others sit around a campfire and tell crazy stories. In this debut episode, full title being 'Jive Turkey Program. Negative Slave Feast. An Electionsgiving Miracle', we hear about: how Satanic Royal elite shitbag Orville Rothsadult influenced Socialism and Nationalism in the early 1900s; a story involving two individuals with opposing political viewpoints having a shootout in the desert; two libtard zombie sheep named Mango and Margo taking anti-Covid anti-racist security measures to a disturbingly RETARDED extreme.
