The legendary Secretsundaze, now led solely by James Priestley, is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in 2024. He has taken the project into a more focussed club-leaning lane, reflecting his vision through fresh solo productions under the Secretsundaze moniker. 

As well as this Secretsundaze marks a new chapter in the institution’s storied history with the foundation of the new imprint 9FINITY (@9finity-hq). The label aims to run with this descriptor through no-nonsense, discerning dance records from artists at the vanguard of modern club music. 

Making a statement with its maiden release, is a vinyl only V/A compiled with the considered curation synonymous with the Secretsundaze name. 9FINITY001 brings together the talents of Eoin DJ, DJ Life, Luca Attanasio, Coffintexts and E-Talking across 5 tracks and digital bonus that act as a distillation of the label’s sonic vision. The debut release, 9FINITY001, is set to drop on September 19th.

In celebration of this milestone and in true Secretsundaze style is the announcement of the 9FINITY launch party at London’s iconic Pickle Factory on September 28th. The event welcomes E-Talking and club favorite Lora Mipsum to the pickle spaceship, alongside Secretsundaze for a night of heads down, hands up dance music. Inseparable maestros Alec Dienaar & STIPP hardly bother with track names - who needs them when the tunes hit this hard? The Dutch pair link up with ec2a for four slabs of driving ghettotech steeped in 90s Detroit grit. Blown-out drums, brute-force basslines and a Newton’s cradle-swing power through “Tool 01” and beyond. “Tool 02” and “Tool 03” are kindred spirits, with sassy primadonna behaviour on the former and boarding calls for big ol’ booties on the latter. “Tool 04”’s infectious Chicago house grooves are crowned with a soul-speaking top-of-the-drop sample: “I’ve had enough!”.
